Official Nokia 8 Bootloader Unlock Method from HMD Global

Guys good morning I have a nokia 8 and I tried to unlock my bootloader with the official method of HMD but I always get the same "INVALID IMEI" message after the procedure.
Have any of you had the same problem?

Bc they disabled this service. You can't unlock the bootloader with their key, they said this. You can pay somebody to unlock it critical.
This is ridiculous. There's finally a few good ROMs for the Nokia 8.Yeah, their service for unlocking bootloader is down, probably forever:)

yeah, you can unlock it with the help of a good man, @HikariCalyx on telegram(but it s not for free, and you don't need a key). I hope that in the future, some devs will try to build a software for unlock.
If I unlock my TA-1012 with the help of this gentleman, will this also unlock critical?
Yep, probably. Ask on our telegram group. I think that there s also a new free way to unlock it
Thanks for replying! Are you referring to the Techmesto site? I've been researching unlocking the TA-1012 for the last couple days and it looks like a good free option. However, now I'm not 100% sure if this will unlock critical either or, rather, if I can (if something goes wrong in the process) manually run the unlock critical command over ADB after the tool does the general BL unlock...

I unlocked my nokia about 2 months ago just through Techmesto sitel. I do not know if it is "unlock critical", but after that I could install t-virus and now I can install any custom rom that is available for Nokia 8.

I unlocked my Nokia 8 TA1052 through the same Techmesto site and yes is "Unlock critical".

You must register an account within HMD website, then download the bootloaderunlocker.apk and get an validation code. Then put the phone in download mode by shutting it down and pressing volume down and connecting it to the computer. Use the fastboot binary to runandCode:fastboot flash unlock unlock.keyandCode:fastboot oem unlockthen its done!Code:fastboot reboot
Please be aware that when you unlock it, all of your data will be erased, so make a full backup before unlocking!

Go to twrp official side and look @ NB1 so you will find the right twrp for your device.

Just follow this it will work. After unlocking the bootloader (official or unofficial bl unlock), run the cmd for flashing the official twrp "fastboot flash boot_a twrp-3.2.3-1-NB1.img" & "fastboot flash boot_b twrp-3.2.3-1-NB1.img" then after flashing run the cmd "fastboot reboot recovery", then flash magisk for rooting.
