[Official] Note 3 Verizon Bootloader Unlock

Try it again, I also had to do it twice before it worked. Make sure you have BusyBox installed and go through the installation process in the BB app.

1. Install SamsungUnlockerN3.apk
2. Grant SU access
3. Click On Install SamBootloader Unlocker
4. Grant SU access
5. Type Yes Hit enter wait for device to power off
6. Should be unlocked

can i leave out my sd card the whole entire time?

I left mine in with no problem, It was not erased, and the phone did not factory reset.

what happens if you dont have an sd card in and you do it?
prob still work ok.
about ready to test

the apk is not working on my note 3 on of1 (rooted with flashify and busybox) installed
in the instructions he says to type "YES" after you give the app root access
after i give root access it just says checking busybox and cleaning up and then it says installed
it never asks me to type "YES" and it dont power off my phone like it says in the directions.
the program closes
if i go look for it in my apps its not there.
if i want to run it again i have to install it again

Make sure busy box is installed and try again.

It doesn't say, but you need to have Android Terminal Emulator installed, it fills in all the commands and then prompts you to enter "yes".

i have android termulator installed
ran BB installer 2x

i might try the adb method.

figure i would try the apk instead

Have you rebooted at all between busy box install and everything else? You may need to flash the 0F1 firmware in Odin to make sure you have a clean slate.

Also remember when you do the exploit you have to do it twice in order for it to do the process completely the first time it changes your cid then you pull the battery and reboot. Then the second time it flashes the bootloader file.

Yes I have it installed alredy, the trouble was with purify blocking terminal, once I allow terminal all ran perfectly, big thanks to the Devs you are Great Men!!!!

No you dont. It uses a modified version of terminal that is installed with apk

Is there a way for Verizon to dig out the CID and then block all phones with that CID from their network?

If I upgrade to newer firmware via Odin, does that relock bootloader?

I am on rooted 4.4.2 which works fine but having the option of a true recovery such as TWRP would be nice rather than the semi-recovery of SafeStrap.

That's the IMEI you're thinking of. Verizon doesn't care about CID. This unlock only changes your CID and bootloader. It does not change your IMEI at all and IMEI number is what Verizon uses to identify your phone not the CID.

How exactly does this work? Does it directly write some image to the emmc with the tool or does it make use of the sd card debrick method and somehow corrupt emmc to cause it to load from the sd?

It will unock your bootloader. As for real ROMs well that's beyond me as I am new to verizon note 3.
