Does the same for me...have no idea?? BB installed SU installed...

AS STATED:

the apk is not working on my note 3 on of1 (rooted with flashify and busybox) installed
in the instructions he says to type "YES" after you give the app root access
after i give root access it just says checking busybox and cleaning up and then it says installed
it never asks me to type "YES" and it dont power off my phone like it says in the directions.
the program closes
if i go look for it in my apps its not there.
if i want to run it again i have to install it again
Reinstall and try again. Sometimes it takes a few tries

Ok..trying the .apk....I grant SU (via SuperSU), it checks busybox (which is installed) gives the warning and asks to type in yes...which I do...and after hitting return...get 2 lines saying this only for some Samsung devices and another line about going back to google and then the terminal prompt.

No auto power off or reboot or anything.

My anti-virus did popup a warning about the apk being risky but I told it to continue.

No change to phone. Pulled battery, rebooted and tried again. No change still.

I can uninstall
my anti virus (Lookout) and try again. Also I have SafeStrap installed and am running 4.4.2 (NC4) would that matter?

[quote name="jrkruse" post=66396756]No you dont. It uses a modified version of terminal that is installed with apk

I uninstalled my terminal emulator then retried it and worked perfectly. But my sdcard is all messed up now but I can deal with that.

I've followed the instruction but it's not working on my Verizon Note 3.
The script stop after this,
Code:
Do you understand the implications of these warnings?

(Yes/No)
yes
yes
[-] this is for (some) Samsung devices onlly
[-] it WILL kill other devices. go back to google
10|[email protected]:/data/local/tmp #
I am running Biggins v9.5 rom (Android 4.4.2), N900VVRUCNC4
Hardware version N900V.07

My CID: 1501004....

Do I need to revert back to stock for this?

Hey Ryan,

I think the script failed because it couldn't locate the cid value.
The location of the cid on my device is, /sys/devices/msm_sdcc.1/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:0001/cid
Can you add that location?

Alex,
That does not help. Can you tell me if you were on android 4.4.4?
The problem is script look for the cid in the wrong location on my device and stop.
It need to know where my cid is located to read it.

Alex,
The script look for the cid value in 3 locations,
/sys/block/mmcblk0/device/cid
/sys/devices/platform/msm_sdcc.1/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0:0001/cid
/sys/class/mmc_host/mmc0/mmc0:0001/cid

On my device,
/sys/devices/msm_sdcc.1/mmc_host/mmc1/mmc1:0001/cid

The binary need to be recompile for it to work on my device.

Your Verizon note 3? Run this and tell me what your first 2 cid numbers are.

Are you on the latest firmware 0F1?

I made this for the S5. I modded it with your unlock binary. All it requires is you to answer yes in the samsung unlock binary
I dont have a note 3 so let me know.
Edit: You must have busybox installed
1. Install SamsungUnlockerN3.apk
2. Grant SU access
3. Click On Install SamBootloader Unlocker
4. Grant SU access
5. Type Yes Hit enter wait for device to power off
6. Should be unlocked
If having problem with above zip try this attachment
View attachment SamsungUnlockerN3_Manual_Instal.zip
Unzip the attachment there will be two files SamsungUnlocker.apk and unlock binary file. Copy both to phone internal storage
Install SamsungUnlocker.apk dont run it yet!
copy unlock bin to system/bin set permission 0755
then run the SamsungUnlocker.apk
Grant Root Access when it prompts then wait for yes/no dialog
