Hello guys,
I`m using an OPO with last RR nightly 5.8.5 20 October 2017: from battery status panel I found several apps like whatsapp, calendar, email, magisk manager with high "keep active" values, I`m talking about hours and hours. from wakelock detector app the best statistic value is around 1 day and 6 - 12 hours (battery life) with 3 - 7 % of awake status. I revoke several permissions for the most of the apps into privacy guard (keep active, launch at startup, etc...)
how can I fix this situation to get an extra battery life? thanks

Uhm, I think you should be asking this in your phone's forums. This is the Galaxy Note 3 Snapdragon model forums, so fixes here and there will not work the same for your OnePlus device. Searching for the RRN thread (not in this forum of course) is easy especially for your device model.

I may have fixed the issue? I think I did a clean install to the latest 5.8.5 and the issue of loosing 4g started.

I clean installed 5.8.3 then dirty installed 5.8.5 and it seems to be keeping 4g lock.

Yep I took my phone out and about today and 3g and 4g worked as they should. When I got home were I always get 4g it was good to go! So glad to have fixed this as I love this ROM! Super fast and everything I use works perfect!

I'm back from vidwhal because of battery drain issues.
So fyi....it possible to dirty flash 5.8.5 form vidwhal to eko.
And it works by flashing over system without wiping anything.
Till now everything works perfect.
Thanks eko for a newer build....need to update thread title.

Btw battery usage is much better than vidwhal!
Both ROMs are great!

I can't login to snapchat, how can I fix this?

What version are you using? If your phone is rooted Snapchat and other apps like Netfix will not work. Those apps detect rooted devices and block you from using those apps.

Flashing using the "Rootless" version allows you to use those apps without issues.

You'll almost certainly have to Update the Bootloader and Modem to the latest for your Device and Carrier - Also use the latest version of TWRP - If you don't do both - It may not Flash and if it does you are almost guaranteed not to have any Cellular Data ?

Hi! I have the SM-N900S (hlteskt) on latest stock firmware (including Modem and Bootloader). There are a few posts here that say they can run on 5.8.3, I plan to do so as well. As I cannot find the older versions of Xenial Kernel (like LA14.1) which others have suggested, I'd like to ask if the latest version (Jan. 2,. 2018 N7.1-GSM) would work with 5.8.3.

Is anyone able to use Jio with this rom? I checked previous replies and tried one method to get it to work, unfortunately all I get is 'No service / Emergency calls only'.
