Official Oxygen OS Marshmallow for our Onyx

So, finally we got Marshmallow.

Excuse my ignorance, but i am a bit confused how to upgrade from CM. Without bothering anyone, can you eplain how to update safely?

From what i've read the are the steps:

flash stock recovery via TWRP
flash OOS 2.1.X first
flash OOS 3.12 now
flash TWRP v41 by eng.stk via fastboot for future upgrades or kernel istallations (this step is optional)


Is that right?

is it necessary to flash OOS 2.1.X first?

it seems i cannot use Ext SD card as internal. i don't see option to "Format it as internal".

same as 3.1.1 for me.
Just have to figure if there is still battery drain. At last, I just had "Service Google Play" that drain my battery, but there are synchros inside....
Total use time was good enought.

If its the first cycle it could be because of updates etc.

First time I flashed I had problems too. After reboot updates for clock, web view and others were gone. And WhatsApp permission too. When I reflashed everything works fine

Because it was a CM features.

On 3.1.1 i tried some subs and they were working pretty fine
