Same issue for many days and I finally understand!!
All the PB is from adaway.

I think there is a incompatibility with the new rom, as soon as you activate it, the wifi troubles appear.

We have to wait the full compatibility of this app with oos 5.0

Strange, for me Adaway and WiFi are working together without any issues.

You can try this game "marvel champion contest" which I'd very sensitive with wifi connection.

If you have the issue, the game will show you a message very often that you have to check your connection

that was with complete wipe of the device

codeworkx TWRP install (universal one) solved issue. Installed without checks and works as it should

Clean Install on OOS 5.0.2 with Magisk 15.3 get Bootloop

Try to boot into OOS after clean install first AND THEN install codeworx TWRP and Magisk.

EDIT: also if you are coming from version OOS 4.X unlocked then you HAVE TO FORMAT data partition.

EDIT: it's always good to check md5 before flashing something in twrp

Why didn't you install OS? Are you sure?
Otherwise, download the FULL ROM ZIP and flash it via OTG cable, if you don't have an OTG cable, you have to push the ZIP via ADB Commands and flash it.

if he has TWRP, connecting it to a PC will solve everything, as you can manage internal storage through windows' file explorer.

just copy full rom zip to the phone storage, and flash as normal
