I'm not sure. I can't remember really but I believe you need to flash the last OOS v9.0.9 before you can flash OOS v10I am retiring my 5T with a 8PRO. 5T currently has 9.0.3. Before I put my 5T away I want to install the last firmware, 10.0.1.
But now I am stuck. Whenever I try to install either the latest 9 or 10, I will see error 7. I did try to remove the assert lines, though I couldn't find any. I did remove the compatibility.zip. I did re-zip using 7-zip. What else I should do to install a firmware?
Right now my phone has no OS.
here you go:
Thank you i will try it !!!here you go:
.. "the easiest way to uninstall Magisk is directly through the Magisk app.
If you insist on using custom recoveries, rename the Magisk APK to uninstall.zip and flash it like any other ordinary flashable zip. ..."
I think all release versions are maintained on GitHub
I recently updated to OOS 10.0.1 after I kept postponing it since December 2020.
I now experience random reboots once every 2-3 minutes. I do not know what caused it, but it is likely a consequence of the update.
Interesting part is I am not asked about the PIN after these random reboots occur, I have to turn the phone off manually or restart it myself in order to be asked for the PIN. I do not know if it is relevant, but I thought to point it out.
Anybody had this experience and knows how to deal with it? Preferably without a factory reset...
I have never had to do a factory reset prior to updating my 5T.
