Yep, also confirmed by Funk Wizard some time ago :good:When that actually happens I might look into getting an OP5 again as a backup.

If you do via custom recovery, you are bound to face issues. Moreover, it is best to do a clean wipe. Still if you wish, use https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...very-twrp-3-2-1-0-oreo-oxygenos-5-0-t3725723, CodeworkX recovery. Apparently that is the only recovery properly working (during my several tests). Can i dirty flash from ob35 to 9.0.10 ?
How about work.by local update ?If you do via custom recovery, you are bound to face issues. Moreover, it is best to do a clean wipe. Actually the binary and blobs are different between the OB and OOS. So no matter what, it will give issues. On a separate note, yes local update would be okay to update. You will still face issues due to difference as vendor blobs change. How about work.by local update ?
Local.update may format my internat data ?Actually the binary and blobs are different between the OB and OOS. So no matter what, it will give issues. On a separate note, yes local update would be okay to update. You will still face issues due to difference as vendor blobs change.
Ideally no. But as I said that would make your sysui troublesome most of the times.Local.update may format my internat data ?
