I have lost 6% overnight. Is it normal or too much?

The problem with this beta (and the 3rd leaked), is that the phone has a normal consumption and suddenly does not enter more into deep sleep. You can check it when entering the battery details. If your 'awake' graphic is similar to 'screen on' there is no problem (left photo), but if the phone is awake it will look more like the right photo.
In my case, the problem usually arises when I get home from work. At first I thought it was about connecting to wifi at home. But now I think it's because in the car I have the phone connected to the radio by bluetooth and there is some type of wakelock remaining (I see nothing in BBS). Whatever the reason, the reboot usually fixes it.

I have the same issue with all the leaked Oreo roms. it's BT related, there's a wakelock preventing it to deepsleep. you need to turn bt off and reboot. just turning it off will not fix

I have the same issue, when I turn off Bluetooth after being connected to my car, a notification asking for my audio source (Bluetooth or phone audio) stays, even when it is off. The only way to fix it is to reboot.

I'm getting fairly frequent distortion and static when using Bluetooth to stream music in my car. It doesn't seem to start until the phone screen goes off but unlike Google phones there doesn't seem to be any way to remove Bluetooth from battery optimization on the OP5. Does anyone know how I could minimize the noise and interference?

    Hey everyone!

We are super excited to announce that we are ready to kick off the Open Beta Program for the OnePlus 5 today! The first Open Beta build based on Android 8.0 for the OnePlus 5 is available for download now. Here’s the changelog of this build.

    [Changelog]
    • System
    • Updated to Android O (8.0)
    • Added Picture in Picture
    • Added Auto-fill
    • Added Smart text selection
    • New Quick Settings design
    • Added Parallel Apps
    • Updated security patch to October
    • Launcher
    • Added notification dots
    • New app folder design
    • Now able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus

    [Instructions and Info]
    1. Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are sometime NOT as stable as our official OTAs generally are. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks of data loss.
    2. If you would like to join our Open Beta Program, please refer to the flashing instructions [HERE] and download the full ROM [HERE].
    3. Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
    4. Reverting back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache). Please carefully follow the flash instructions below.
      1. Please be aware that all data will be wiped during the revert-back process, so do remember to backup your data in advance.
      2. Download the roll-back build provided [HERE] to Internal storage.
      3. Shut down your device and enter recovery mode by long pressing the Power + Volume Down key simultaneously.
      4. Select “Install from Local” and choose the downloaded build to install.
      5. Reboot your device after installing the build. You have to re-enter recovery mode to Wipe data cache and Erase everything(Music, pics, etc).
      6. Reboot your device again and you're all good to go.

    [Kind Reminders]
As this is a major update we hope that you will fill out our survey on UX & UI [HERE].
And please remember to tell us about any bugs you may find using the bug report forums, found [HERE].

Since our buddy @Adam Krisko is away from the office this weekend, I helped him to pass this good news to everyone. Make sure to let us know how you feel about this beta build in the comments below, we are watching.

    [Flash Instructions]
    1. Download the OOS Open Beta 1 Official | Mega mirror
    2. Plug your phone into your computer and copy the downloaded .zip to your phone’s storage. If you’re using a Mac, you can install Android File Transfer for this operation.
    3. After the .zip file is copied to your phone, reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.
    4. Choose "Install from internal storage/Install from local", find your .zip file and click on "Install" to confirm.

    5. Wait a while, your phone should now update to the selected build and reboot automatically to take you into OxygenOS.

    Thanks to OnePlus team.

False, just go to Smart Lock > Trusted Face > Active/Register your Face

Now its magic just show your phone and it's open without code or fingerprint

Not the same as the new face unlock, see screenshots

Any one had an issue with their physical nab buttons quitting working? Occasionally after an unlock I'll have my physical buttons quit and have to use settings to enable the on screen nab.

Is it just me or snapchat is too zoomed in the open beta 1?
