Ah I didn't know that. Can't they just be installed from Galaxy store? I haven't encountered any apps I couldn't install/uninstall from firmware to firmware yet.Yes but for example Verizon on G960U is missing samsung cloud and other samsung features
Samsung cloud is for internal backup system like google. I don't even know if there is secure folder backup because of that.Ah I didn't know that. Can't they just be installed from Galaxy store? I haven't encountered any apps I couldn't install/uninstall from firmware to firmware yet.
Oh I am fully aware of what it is I just haven't encountered a firmware with it missing. It's been there for me on g960w, g960u, and g960u1Samsung cloud is for internal backup system like google. I don't even know if there is secure folder backup because of that.
You had to opt into the beta program when it started back in November in order to receive OTA beta updatesThis is exactly my phone, factory unlocked SM-G960U1. Why didn't I receive these updates? I check and it says I have the latest version. I'm on ark5 which I assume is newer than ARJ2 and yet I have no pie, I don't understand why.
Can I still install this somehow?
Also, if I do these updates manually, will I get the next OTA updates?

We have had 3 updates faster than the Nexus platform. We had November and December security bulletins before it was even released.I was happy with Nexus 5X more than this.... Sammy is not good at updates.

Sir I'm on G960U with Sprint annoying stuff using with an Asian SIM card, the phone is unlocked. Can I install G960U1 firmware to delete all the Sprint stuff make it like F or FD clean phone? I want to install clean OneUi.Official beta build was pulled directly from the phone that downloaded the OTA update. These are not the leaked builds like before but rather official beta ota builds pushed by Samsung.
Please read the Title properly before asking if it will work on SM-G960F variant. This OTA is only for US factory unlocked model. And do not ask me if I can pull firmware for Exynos variant.
This post will be updated a soon as new official builds will be available.
