Have you tried other pie versions, Crdroid for ex, aren't you getting random app crashes, especially with chrome?

I don't use Chrome, at all.
I tried other ROMs, and there are apps that are crashing, but there's no pattern, not always the same apps are crashing. Sometimes the Solid Explorer, sometimes Simple Pro, sometimes Amazon Kindle.
I think it is because in the base core comes from the same source.

I found a strange issue, screen mirroring/casting crashes the system. When I try to connect to the TV, the screen gets dark and restarts, the apps starting at boot reports treir restart, however the phone doesn't boot up again.

Finally, some one troubled by the same issue  should I shake your hand? I have tried countless Pie roms for markw with this same issue,
Cast/Miracast" cannot be used, when connecting to a wireless display adapter, screen will turn black and desktop will FC/crash, looks like a soft reboot. But the phone can recover itself and go back to desktop, not "doesn't boot up" like you. Seems this issue is more serious on this rom? Several 8.0 rom works fine on this cast function ,btw.

Yeah, have exactly the same problem, I just couldn't describe it. The same wireless display works on another phone, so not the TV device causes it, I'm sure.

So summary up: This bug can be reoccurred easily with 100% when using Cast function over different Pie roms, while Cast works fine on Oreo. This makes me doubt the cause is some codes introduced by Pie itself.

There is one, in DarkAngelGr's folder, from 03.07, but that has a bug, the com.google.phone crashes continuously and my SIM isn't recognized.

Can you suggest a PIE based ROM for day-to day usage (like good battery life and less app crashes).
I've heard SuperiorOS (which is also from DarkAngelGR) is good, but haven't tried yet.

Using Superioros since january as daily and it is really good. Tried other pies too but always gone back to superior. Maybe i give dotos another try when it is more develpoed.

Thanks. Almost decided to go for SuperiorOS.
But I like Havoc (Oreo based) so much, don't know why!
No app crashes but battery life is terrible.

I am working on an other project for markw that's why I haven't been able to update any ROMs ( SuperiorOS and other ROMs)
I have also made a build for Project Pearl but it has some bugs
When it's time I will post it here

This is the most stable and featureful ROM I tried so far.

There are only 2 small things I noticed:
    - However I have the latest available version, 20190225, the system notifies me that an update is available. Checking it, it shows the build I already have.
    - I miss a feature, the profiles that are set based on bluetooth- or wifi connection. I love the possibility to set ring- and call volume based on the connected wifi: home or at my workplace.
