Sir, I have question regarding a13 restriction. If I extracted the file and copy it to android data folder using the recovery is it possible? I tried many file managers but couldn't access internal android data.

My phone is not encrypted (I use DFE)OrangeFox R11.1_3 Stable released
I have released OrangeFox R11.1_3_A12 Stable.
Changes:
* Full support for Android 12/13 encryption
Notes:
* This is an Android 12 (and higher) release. Do NOT use with Android 11 or earlier.
* Make a FULL backup of your data and internal storage BEFORE flashing this release
* After restoring backups that include encrypted data, and booting to Android, you should reboot the ROM once or twice, using the power button

I'm not sure I fully understand the question, because formatting data has nothing to do with flashing a recovery.My phone is not encrypted (I use DFE)
Can I just flash latest version without losing data (skip backup and format data)

That's not a recovery log - it's just a small selection from the log. And "stock MIUI 13" doesn't mean much because there are many different releases of stock MIUI.Has anybody confirmed that decryption is working? I am on stock MIUI 13, it does not work for me. Maybe only for custom ROM's?

Righty-o, here's the full log attached - also includes an attempt to backup Internal Storage (first), then an attempt to decrypt. Seems OrangeFox doesn't recognize the encryption scheme -That's not a recovery log - it's just a small selection from the log. And "stock MIUI 13" doesn't mean much because there are many different releases of stock MIUI.

It seems that you have a beta MIUI release. That may be the problem (or it may not). Why not first try removing the screen lock from MIUI, restart MIUI, and then add the screenlock again?Update: PB and official TWRP are the same.
I'll do a backup of all my apps and do a clean flash of the official-stock latest MIUI 13 (13.0.8.0.SJUMIXM) and get back to you.
EDIT: Including a full Data format *within* OrangeFox.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then I suggest you stay away from MIUI beta releases. The latest Global Stable release is V13.0.3.0.SJUMIXM, and it decrypts perfectly fine.
fastboot erase userdata
and now decryption is working, without PIN and after adding PIN I was referring to this, in the log you attached, which indicates that the ROM is V13.0.5.0.SJUMIXM:All good, I had tofastboot erase userdata
and now decryption is working, without PIN and after adding PIN
Apparently 13.0.8.0 is stable, or do you mean 13.0.4.0 was beta? 13.0.8.0 Global has been sent out as OTA within past week or so. Regardless, all is fine now, and the latest GoPlus based on 13.0.8.0 is hecka lit. Finally we can increase folder column count in stock launcher without having to install LSPosed + CustoMIUIzer13 fork.
Thanks for your work!
* MIUI ROM (SDK:31, Android 12)

* Fingerprint: POCO/vayu_global/vayu:12/RKQ1.200826.002/V13.0.5.0.SJUMIXM:user/release-keys
If you go to https://orangefox.download/device/vayu you will see that there are several releases, and only the latest one R11.1_3_A12 supports only A12/13. If you download an older one, it should work fine

Nope. Android 12 encryption is quite problematic, and there is much work to do before recoveries can decrypt it properly. There is a hack that means that one or two devices can now be decrypted (only if there is no password/PIN) - but vayu is not one of them.@DarthJabba9 How's the Android 12 ROM's compatibility, can they be decrypted yet?
Isn't this the first official recovery for vayu? Wonder why there aren't more views and comments.
