Reporting problems

If you wish to report problems, be sure to do all of these:
1. Copy the logs immediately you see a problem
2. Explain fully and clearly the problem, and what you were doing when you encountered that problem
3. Attach the logs that show the problem. If you fail to do this, there would be no way for the developers to ascertain what exactly is going on, and therefore your report would be unhelpful.

If you want to know how to copy logs, read https://wiki.orangefox.tech/en/guides

I am having odd mounting issues. On first boot if recovery system wont unmount. After reboot it will mount/unmount a few times then error out.

Recovery logs only say device busy couldn't unmount and app wont let me upload. Will try uploading later from website if you need it.

Which bugs? Oh yeah - we have seen all your full and helpful bug reports (NOT). And we have seen all your logs that show these alleged "bugs" (NOT). If you have something constructive to contribute, then send full reports with logs. If not, go and troll elsewhere.

There are massive mounting issue. I asked if anyone else had the same problems and seems like he has. I can upload logs and even video of it. If you don't care about the issues just say so but no need to start with the "troll bs". I even tried to load logs in my first comment but the stupid xda app doesn't like uploading most files besides pics.

    OrangeFox R10.0-1 released

I have released R10.0-1 (fixes Led and mount issues (MIUI))

    Thanks:
Many thanks to @Yusif_Aliyev without whose extended tests and detailed reports this release would not have been possible.

I have received zero test reports on the last beta (since its release in March), either here, on in our telegram groups. I am therefore stopping support for this device, and have asked the admins to close the thread.

    OrangeFox R10.1_001 Beta released

I have released OrangeFox R10.1_001 Beta.

    Downloads:
    OrangeFox download site: https://files.orangefox.tech/OrangeFox-Beta/platina/

    Changelog (General for R10.1): https://wiki.orangefox.tech/en/changelog#orangefox-r101

    Device-specific changes:
    - Updated device tree for Android 10
    - Updated the Magisk addon to v20.3
    - This release is system-as-root (SAR)
    - This release is targeted at Android 10 ROMs. Those on Pie ROMs should stay with the previous Stable release
    - The option to disable DM-Verity is unticked by default, and will be automatically unticked every time the recovery boots up
    - Release date: 25 March 2020

    NOTES:
    - This is a system-as-root (SAR) build, and it is only for Android 10 ROMs and higher
    - It is possible that, because the recovery is now SAR, some flashable zips that are not properly configured will not work any more, and will need to be updated. Any such issues should be reported to the developer of the flashable zip, and should not be reported here (I will simply ignore such reports)
    - Do NOT flash this release if you are running a Pie ROM. If you are running a Pie ROM on your device, then you MUST stay with the previous Stable release
    - All future releases will follow this path
    - This is a beta. Treat it as such
    - If the Android 10 build is ever going to move from "Beta" to "Stable", then I will need full and detailed reports of its operations - including logs (backups of all logs will be in the /sdcard/Fox/logs/ folder); I will need logs even if there seem to be no problems and everything seems to be working perfectly
    - Please do NOT post cryptic and unhelpful things such as "doesn't work" - if you will make a report, make a full and detailed report, and include the logs that show the problem - otherwise, I will not respond at all

    Incremental MIUI OTA:
Due to recent changes in stock MIUI, you must not disable DM-Verity when flashing a stock MIUI ROM that is based on either Android Pie, or Android 10
(the relevant option in OrangeFox is now unticked by default). If you disable DM-Verity, incremental MIUI OTA updates may not work.
