Hi,

installed OrangeFox [email protected]_0 on my Radmin Note 9S (Global Version - Curtana)
But every time I install a custom Rom and reboot, it boot to recovery.
(I tried Fluid-1.2 and crDroid 7.3)

I have the same problem with TWRP.

If I install an official Firmware (like miui_CURTANAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.RJWMIXM_e29d7b7c84_11.0), and reboot, it successfully boot into MIUI.

What I'm missing ?
Thanks for any help.
How do you install stock MIUI ROM via OF? Can you please share the procedure with us?

I really wish people would stop repeatedly asking the same question, in all sorts of different ways. I have already given the definitive explanation about how to flash any ROM.

I will reproduce the answer - yet again.

It seems that you really want to flog to death this notion of wiping system. The answer is exactly the same answer that has been given to the several posts you have made about this issue. I will repeat it for the last time:
1. There is no requirement to wipe system;
2. You cannot wipe system, even if you wanted to
3. All that is required for a clean flash is:
- Flash ROM +
- Wipe caches/dalvik +
- Format data +
- Boot to system

Any further question about how to flash any ROM will simply be ignored.

Hi there,
i can't flash a rom. It says it can't create moumtpoint. It seems like sytem is r/o? Though it's not a orangefox issue, perhaps someone can hell me. I'm on joyeuse with spiceOS.

On MIUI you can't mount system or vendor. And even if you manage to mount them, they will be read-only. That's how Xiaomi has implemented its dynamic partition stuff, and there is nothing to be done about it.

I know of no reason why your internal storage should be read-only.

thanks i thought i cant flash rom without mounting system. turns out i dont need to mount them to flash any rom. about my sd card i already fixed by formatting the data by typing "YES" the other format data confuses me because i did format my data many times by swiping. eventually i figured that i formatted the wrong data thing 😂 now this recovery works pretty well thank you for your work.

There are some ROMs which requires wiping system, vendor partitions to flash them like Pixel experience. There's no such option in Orange Fox. What can I do to flash ROMs?
