Receiving Error 255 on my Miatoll with A12 -FLOS 18.1 trying to create backup of Data. Same error with OF11.1_1 and 11.1_2 + TWRP3.6.0_11. Never faced that with A11, I guess A12 is the culprit... Any clue ? Thanks

Android 12 encryption is not currently supported (by any recovery). You cannot backup the data partition if the device is encrypted.

INSTALLATION:
0. Backup your ROM, your data, your internal storage, and your settings/apps, to an external storage medium
1. Download the OrangeFox zip file to your device
2. Reboot to your Custom Recovery
3. Flash the OrangeFox zip file as a normal zip
4. The device will automatically reboot into OrangeFox recovery after installation (allow this to happen)
5. Enjoy!

It seems that you really want to flog to death this notion of wiping system. The answer is exactly the same answer that has been given to the several posts you have made about this issue. I will repeat it for the last time:
1. There is no requirement to wipe system;
2. You cannot wipe system, even if you wanted to
3. All that is required for a clean flash is:
- Flash ROM +
- Wipe caches/dalvik +
- Format data +
- Boot to system4I really wish people would stop repeatedly asking the same question, in all sorts of different ways. I have already given the definitive explanation about how to flash any ROM.
I will reproduce the answer - yet again.
Any further question about how to flash any ROM will simply be ignored.
