There is a root bypass method where you can do all that without losing FP.

It's crazy but RM5G allows you to root without having to actually unlock bootloader.

This is achieved without using the command fastboot flashing unlock which is responsible for lost FP.

That is a good news. Can you provide me with a link or something like that where I can found how to do that?. I found a tutorial here but it says that he lost his Fp
I want to read and informed me before doing anything.

Guy!! My device is on latest china firmware 6.23
So how to convert it to EU firmware? Just download EU firmware and throw it to root then manual update?

Hi, apologies for the noob question but I am very unsuccessful with my several trials in trying to flash Global ROM to my RM5G currently in CNCommon_v6.23. Is there anything I could hope for? Or Am I doomed with my CN ROM?

Update: Already managed to convert from CN to Global ROM using the Official UnbrickTool from Sir @Jeremy's thread.

They're active only on cn development. Nubia and other chinese manufacturers does look at the cn version of they're software first and then push it to global users so fingers crossed we will get some this month or the next one otherwise next year lol

Verified by some members, 8.11 and 7.14 are the combined roms, meaning they are the next stock roms of the 5G devices. they will install directly over 4.13 and 3.16

This is the official CN ROM for RedMagic 5S and it is based on Red Magic OS V3.5. It works perfectly with RM5G because it's basically the same board and chip. It's more beautiful with improvements in Game Space, icons, themes, AOD among others.
