3rd party launcher problem is solved.

Go to:
settings>default app settings>desktop


Then select your third-party launcher and it'll stick


Faceunlock also
And VoLTE HD calls

Face unlock is there but not showing the launcher option. I don't know why. I have to go through from the launcher appinfo>home>select launcher
It sticks but clicking home button goes to nubia launcher home. The 3rd party. Launcher is still showing default big neither the 3rd party launcher can detect itself as default not the home button takes it to the 3rd party launcher.

I can confirm 3rd party launcher now works just like zayidhs said but I can't seem to enable gestures on it. Anyone know how to enable it it through adb tried the "adb shell cmd overlay enable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.gestural" and it does not work anyone know what cmd is?

Sorry, android 10 doesn't have gesture support in 3rd party launcher.

Can you find default app settings in your settings?
If not then install activity launcher go to default app settings, select desktop, select nova launcher. Also disable gestures as android 10 does not support gestures in 3rd party apps

You need latest version of rom. it's not 3.11 just wait for next update.

I downloaded latest rom from nubia site but not sure if I need that or something else.
Also not in the mood to fully wipe phone.

The latest download on the Nubia site seems to be 4.09

I'm also anxiously awaiting the ability to use custom launchers

I downloaded from here, edited links, but seems like launcher wont get stuck. As soon as I set Nova and lock and unlock phone it goes to default.

Congratulations you got the file, [emoji28] now install activity launcher. Go to setting in activity launcher packages. Then check for default app settings. Then open it, then go to desktop. Select nova launcher. It will stick. But you can't use gestures, as gestures are not supported by 3rd party apps in Android 10 by Google.

If you examine the link(s), you'll note a V409 or V311 in the url...

A v3.13 for NA and v4.11 for EU had been posted earlier, but since removed (I don't know why)...

To that end, future versions will likely follow the same directory structure (eg. V412 or V314, etc.)...
