Hello!

This rom is my favorite for now. It works very smooth and awesome. All works well for now, except the thing that I cant find Gapps that works good for it. Have tried to flash BitGapp on it, but after creating Pattern screen becomes blank. Even after restart it shows booting and when UI should show itself it still stay blank as before. I have tried to clear cache and dalvik to manage it to work and it goes again in steps until pattern is created and again goes black. I so tried to find Google Play Services, Google services Framework, Google Play Store and tried like 20 different APK-s but no one would work (some of them also freezes on first UI when I draw pattern for unlocking.

Again, that is just about Gapps and I cant find right one, this rom is best and smoothest one Well done!

Awesome! It works perfectly now. Also want to mention that battery life improved. For today use battery dropped from 100% to 80% (for 24 hours). I expect it to be like three days without charging my phone. Just to compare with stock rom on Android 8.1 MIUI 11, I could not use my phone without charging for more than 15 hours daily. This is massive improvement

Thank you so much for this amazing ROM, this could be Stock ROM literally. Its soo smooth, reliable and stable

UPDATE: On Google Maps my phone wont show current location. I've tried to use some other apps and only Yandex maps shows my current location. Also want to mention that charging time is less than on stock rom

your redmi 5 must have the battery ruined or your phone is full of junk programs which constantly access the web for data

please note that using MIUI 10 official oreo 8.1 , my redmi 5 drain around 6% battery every 24 hs (0.2% hour) screen off ,wifi on,location off
This data comes from the program accubattery which I have installed it and calculate all

In lineage 17 it even waste less battery ( 0.1% hour) or something around 3 or 4 % batteriy drain every 24 hs

Thank you for info aldozx, gonna get new battery definitely. What I've found in accubattery app in start advices is that phone should always be charged max to 80% so it lifespan extends for 200%. Even if batteries are cheap these days. Is good to know
