Does anybody else facing issue with the charging speed?

I use the same charging set as I used for the official Android 11 system. Now it seems it does not even charge my phone. Last night I put on charger, and instead of charging it, it has been dropped from 40% to 16% till morning (c.a 8 hours of charging). The application usage was normal, no stucked app was running.

I use this ROM since last afternoon, before that the official A11 was used without any issue; if the phone is turned off, it charges with the normal speed. So there is no problem with the hardware (both phone and the charging set).

Build version:
evolution_laurel_sprout-userdebug 12 SQ1D.220105.007 eng.ani.20220121.130256

EDIT: if I turn off the phone, insert the charger, wait until it is start to charge (with normal speed), and I turn on the phone, the charging with normal speed continues. So now this issue is less pain, but still a bit pain.

I don't know if it will help, but try playing with developer settings > media transcoding settings.


Two more problems I've noticed while using this rom:

QS panel is not displaying next alarm time. Can anyone confirm if that is indeed a bug, or just another brilliant "improvement" in Android 12?

Wifi is working very unreliably for me. Sometimes I can't even connect to my router/other devices on my home network by ip. After some time it seems to fix by itself and wifi is working normally (only sometimes randomly disconnecting when using bluetooth at the same time). Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe it's just my firewall app messing up.

Also I've just discovered a great option in the "Evolver" - hiding notification panel headers. Finally a way to regain some of that space lost for super large padding!

I alredy fix it. Using twrp 3.5.9 not 3.6.



Yesss. I have wifi Performance issues too and sometimes hided notofication on panel.

But after all i love this rom..

Keep evolve..

Hope i could find the way to solve those problem.

I have the same charging issues too.




I thought it was just my old battery.
Sometimes it do3snt charge properly while phone running or powering it off. Sometimes it normal.

How am I related in this? What? I am in charge of ROM development, not device related issues. Charging is usually related to your kernel, not the ROM.

Before install the lat3st update, i have no wifi performance and charging issues.


Evolver still the best rom i've ever use.

Sir I am also on the same build and facing no issue. If you still feel that issue is with the update you can re-install it by clean flashing method but still it's not regarding the ROM otherwise all would be facing it.

every android 12 custom rom has serious issues with battery backup and discharging issue. my mi a3 having evolution x 6.2. it takes 6hrs to completely charge and takes 2hrs to completely discharge... so weird, going back to android 11 havoc os.

I too having battery issues, not daily but periodically... Sometimes its drain fast sometimes its taking too much of time to charge. I can see this type of issue in all rom pages. I think android 12 having lots of bugs and fully waste of graphical elements, curves. but lags in performance!! So I'm going try this rom. If I face the same issues, then I will go back to A11 which was flawless and stable!!

Does this rom has pixel ringtones app "sounds"?

Yeah sounds app is there.

The only issue was with powerstats in A12 that was causing battery drain when the phone is in IDLE state which is also fixed now.

Takes 5 attempts for a call to go through. Also when someone phones me. I pick up and hear nothing. Phone dial freezes up. Calls go to answering machine. Using Whatsapp now to make and receive calls

Is fastboot working, or is the phone completely dead (black screen)? Maybe active slot somehow got changed by itself (is that even possible?).

Kinda weird that something like this would happen when the rom is already working though.

If fastboot works we can flash stock to fix the issue. If it fails then the only option is EDL

I'm loving this rom! No battery issues now, using it for 3 days...
But apps are crashing frequently, camera not working, system ui lagging, FOD issue, no fluidity as like Android 11. Android 11 was a perfect daily driver. But 12 is not stable yet...
Magisk canary not having hide list..
Let's see for another few days...
