Only 1 sim works at a time is what it comes down to. Use sim 1 or sim 2, not both

You can't. It's the Pixel Launcher. Evolution X devs can't modify it. Use another launcher such as Lawnchairhow i disable "Google search bar" from homescreen??

i have downloaded the latest build of today's date and also flashed the latest TWR 3.3.1 but no idea why i am getting error message while flashing the rom (Updater process ended with error: 255)
file that i have downloaded is EvolutionX_dumpling-9.0-20190729-0747-OFFICIAL
also i unzip the file and check all the files are different from all those which use to be custom rom for flashing.
is there a master file that need to flash before flashing these updated files ?

Go back to the download page and get the rom that includes j5lte, j5nlte, j53gxx, or j5ltechn, whichever one matches your device, and try again. You have the rom build for the device codename dumpling
my device is J500G which count in J5lte and i have downloaded all others variant rom and tried flash it one by one and still same message appearing updater process ended with error: 255 error installing zip file
i am having MM stock bootloader and having latest TWRP recovery.
You should be using the j5lte version of twrp and of the rom. Mount all partitions and retry. Let me know if that works.
That was going to be my next suggestion, but it would have been ofox instead.
There should be no issues with the twrp build, i've had no complaints yet and people know that they can always come to me with an issue and i would see what i could do to fix it. But i'm not sure why this 255 error is coming up, esp if he has the right twrp variant installed and has the right rom variant too. Unless its a bad download?
Out of curiousity, i just went ahead and relfashed recovery with 3.3.1, then flashed the rom. No error 255 appeared. Log is attached in zip

This is log when you did the system backup, i didin't see any zip flashing whatsoever!

I won't fix this on EvoX anytime soon. It requires modified source, which I can't do on an official build. Use my AEX if you want both sims to work.
