BTW, to the OP - it looks to me like you own an Outback? However your dash cubby looks a little... unusual... Is that the special cubby insert someone on subaruoutback.org was selling for a while?
But a fast corner in a mustang....You couldn't be more wrong on this.
I have this very mount and was using it with the Samsung car dock for the Captivate. The size/weight of both docks is essentially identical. So if it worked fine for the Captivate dock, it should work just as well for the SGS2 dock.
This mount is very heavy and WILL NOT TIP...even when you take a tight turn in your car. At most it will slide unless you secure it with the included hook to keep it in place...then it's not going anywhere.
Trust me on this. I drive a Saleen S281, and am prone to driving a little crazy at times, and if this mount won't tip in my car, chances are it won't tip in yours either.
I Had a ProClip Mount and just used some industrial Velcro to mount it to the ProClip. Is there any possibility that someone could post some pics of how the device holder connects to the mounting arm? I drive a full size GMC pickup and I am trying to get an idea on how I can alternatively mount this on a proclip with some modifications.
Car Home Ultra? It looks alright, but I can't figure out why I need another speedometer in my car.For a car dock app ... I love Car Dock Ultra. Does just what I want and well designed.
This is my problem too. It's annoying and would love a work around. Other than that....this dock is great. i've had it for over 2 months now.I received the official Samsung vehicle mount last week and so far...I am quite satisfied. One big question though:
I finally made a phone call using the dock and the caller's audio came from the phone's speaker. Is there a way to have the audio come thru the dock to my stereo? I have the AUX out connected directly to my stereo; and I checked the setting to pass audio thru the dock. Music and Navigation all send the audio to my stereo thru the dock; but phone calls are using the phone's internal speaker.
Previously, when I had the cable plugged in to the headphone out jack, the phone calls would play thru the stereo with no problem.
Any help or ideas? Hopefully, I'm just missing a simple setting somewhere...
Wow, I apologize for the extremely late response.BTW, to the OP - it looks to me like you own an Outback? However your dash cubby looks a little... unusual... Is that the special cubby insert someone on subaruoutback.org was selling for a while?

Running MIUI currently and there is no Dock Sound Support [wom wom]. However, assuming it is the same issue as with the Captivate, try this app:This is my problem too. It's annoying and would love a work around. Other than that....this dock is great. i've had it for over 2 months now.
Nice car. I want to get one of these, but I'm not sure where I would put it. Does the suction cup stick to the Subaru dash plastic? I've got a 2010 STI and a 2002 WRX.Wow, I apologize for the extremely late response.
Yes, good eye! I have an '09 Legacy and added the connections in the back. Since the original post I've made quite a few modifications because it was rushed and looked bad :]

*cough* The Impreza WRX was redesigned for the 2008 model year and is now based on a shortened Subaru Legacy platform. *cough*Yeah I'm over there (same name). No, the Impreza is its own platform so I'm out of luck. I'm not worried about hiding it, just looking for my best option. How well does it stick to glass?

[offtopic]'08 and up the Impreza was enlarged on the 05-07 Legacy platform (for pure mind blown-ness take a look at the '12 Impreza and '09 Legacy) then in '10 the Legacy was enlarged[/offtopic]That's weird, I've always been so used to the Legacy and the Impreza being seperate. I really don't pay much attention to the STI, its my DD. The WRX is the one that takes the beating
Good to know it suctions well, does it sit at a comfortable viewing angle when attached to the windshield?
