Android Pie Update

Can anyone please update me about Samsung galaxy S7 Edge android pie update. Is Samsung planning to provide an update for S7 in future or not. If not then I will switch my phone if yes then i will keep this phone for next 2 years more.

I am unsure whether there will be an Android Pie update for that device. However, Android Pie in my opinion is a disappointment. If I were able to revert to Oreo on my device I would gladly do so.

Help, i dont have a way to activate pin in Secure Startup. My old s7 edge is currently lock with forgotten google account, i wanna restore and give it to my nephew. I just freshly wipe and erase all the data.
I forgot what current Android version is this, base on my knowledge flashing different ROM will remove that security. Its a galaxy s7 edge verizon

Hi all, I have been trying to revert to stock ROM on my UK S7 Edge SM-G935F using various Odin files and using a stock ROM from previous successful flashes but this phone just fails and I have to disconnect etc. Any ideas?

Is now stuck on booting up. SAMSUNG slowly flashing with a blue LED on bright or less than bright but no boot to start up screen.

why cant i change CSC using *#272*IMEI# from THL frimware? its annoying... even if i flash XTC firmware it defaults to THL CSC

    1. Extract (un-rar) the firmware file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin) ***
    2. Download Odin v3.12.7
    3. Extract Odin ZIP file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin)
    4. Open Odin v3.12.7
    5. Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
    6. Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
    7. Add the firmware files to their designated slots
    8. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
    9. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes

    *** You can always find the LATEST firmware in msg #2

    The main file, is made for the Netherlands (CSC=PHN).

    If you have another CSC, i.e. SEB (Baltic):
    1. download the MAIN-file and extract AP BL & CP
    2. download the latest firmware for your country, and extract the HOME_CSC of your country
    3. Place the extracted files (including YOUR HOME_CSC in the designated slots of Odin)
