Maybe a silly question but if I flash this on my T-Mobile SM-G955U will I be able to unlock and flash root? Will it work with my specific carrier here in the US?
All th US phones have the same model name so I was just curious as to how we will be moving forward with development!

Could you do a Post with CSC collection ?
particulary Home_CSC repository ? it's very usefull ...
here in my post CSC which will erase and give you CSC=PHN,
and the HomeCSC, which will not erase your data and give you CSC=PHN.

You can´t flash this!
You have the Snapdroagon 835 processor.
This Firmware is ONLY for the Exynos 8895 Processor.
Even if you tried flashing the wron software AND locked bootloader of your SM-G955 U would make it impossible and could - in the worst case - lead to a bricked phone.
Henk... any way of getting around this oxm... mine is xeu but would rather have btu, took em few days to release ota after btu got it. Thanks

In this case, you can flash them earlier with Odin!

When you use CSC or HOME_CSC and you've one of the CSC's mentioned in OXM, your CSC will stay original!

When you flash Home CSC it doesn't erase your data, for example, if you flash Home CSC PHE on a S7, it allows you to use Spay in spain. But if you flash standard CSC, it erase all data on your phone.
Doing a thread for all Home_CSC avaible could be very useful.

In OXM there are all the CSC's -> You can't extract these! It's NOT the same like on the S7/S7Edge!

isn´t it so that if the csc that you have atm is in the Multi-CSC Package and you flash the HOME_CSC that you stay on YOUR CSC.

Where did I say: this CSC gives PHN? Nowhere!
The firmware-package is for ALL CSC's in OXM the same: there are NO separate firmwares anymore for i.e. PHE, PHN etc...
If your phone has the PRODUCT-code PHE (UNbranded Spain) and you flash the package I posted here, your CSC will stay PHE and will NOT change to PHN
You better look what you wrote...
to go into Download Mode you have to press Power + Bixby + Vol down
