You can flash the firmware from unlock version, workd fine.
I am in France and the last update available from my network provider (SFR) is from April 1, 2018. Can I flash the newest June 1 update without creating problems with my network provider? (NB: my phone is carrier unlocked.)
If so, which update should I download among those listed here?

Hi, you can flash any CRF7 from unlock version, doest mess with your carrier, flash ex DBT, with your sim card on it, then reset again, and you will receive updates from unlock version,.
DBT is unlock German, usually it the first release, but you can choose other.
After reset your sim card you always end with XEF/XEF /SFR carrier lock

I uses odin 3.13_to flash crfd7 firmware to my s8 plus, everything went well, until i realized that internal storage down from 64 gb to smt around 10 gb ?.
I remembered choose bl button then choose the file start with ap_xxx (with have size 3.5 gb). So did i make smt wrong?
Going to reflash.

Did you flash ALL files? AP BL CP CSC/HOME_CSC ?
Probably NOT, so you didn't read msg #1 first...
i have a SM-G955FD bought from swappa no background on it but exynos non us can i flash XEU BTU?
Hey guys, IDK if this thread is still open but i live in the US and i was wondering what the samsungs official stock firmware was for the g955f, where to download it, and how to do it so i can still OTA update for the future.
Check here: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8-plus/SM-G955U/ this is were all official firmware are present. choose your phone model and search for the latest one from your vendor... flash it via ODIN and you will get OTA in the future.

He asked for SM-G955F, NOT SM-G955U!

I read his post! this is why i mentioned ""CHOOSE YOUR PHONE MODEL" . i just paste the link from G955U but he can choose another one. not to complicated...
