Hi all,
I just purchased the S8+ Duos from Singapure (SM-G955FD). Is it possible to flash the Single Sim Firmware to the Dual Sim Phone without any restrictions? I would like to replace the Singapur Firmware with a European one (AUT).
That's what I have today (looked-up with Phone info): Model: SM-G955F (Samsung Smart Switch sais SM-G955FD), Active CSC-Code MM1, CSC Country Singapore / SG, Product Code SM-G955FZKDMM1

Has already someone flashed a Dual Sim S8 with the Single Sim Firmware? Any expierence to share?

Thanks in advance!
YES: it's possible to flash SM-G955F firmware on a SM-G955FD device (firmware is the same)...

NO: it's NOT possible to get your CSC from MM1 to AUT

Reason: MM1 is also part of the "big Multi-CSC" OXM; because AUT is in OXM too, your CSC will stay MM1 after flashing the AUT-firmware (MM1 & AUT are both in Multi-CSC OXM)...

However: there is a possibility your CSC will "switch" to "AUT" when you put in a Swiss SIM in the device before flashing, but I'm not sure in this one...

@henklbr

Considering there are no firmwares for the XSG (UAE) or PAK (Pakistan) CSC, and they are included in OXM, can I flash any AQDQ firmware that has the OXM CSC and insert my Pakistani SIM Card for it to switch to the correct CSC itself?

Would I need to flash HOME_CSC or the normal one?

XSG is included in OXM too, so you can flash the firmware from this thread
If you want to have the data intact, flash AP BL CP & HOME_CSC_OXM

CSC_OXM will reset your device

Suppose I download the DBT firmware, and choose HOME_CSC, will it do any harm, or can I go ahead without doing a clean flash?

EDIT: Thanks henk. Flashed AQDG and wiped it as well just to be on the safe side. Working well.

I would just reset the phone to Factory Settings from Recovery.
Or flash the newest Firmware via Odin.

I'm sure that some setting or App on your phone is not working as it should.

No: NOT possible...

SLK is part of the OXM Multi-CSC, BTU & PHN are also part of the Multi-CSC OXM

Flashing firmware released for BTU and/or PHN will NOT change your SLK CSC!

You can always flash the firmware posted in this thread (when somewhere early OXM-firmware is released, it will be posted here)...

Flash AP BL CP & HOME_CSC_OXM -> your data will stay intact!

Have you read message #1 1st sentence?

"In this thread, You can share the Mega-Links of new firmware's (OFFICIAL STOCK) for the Galaxy S8+ (so: NO CUSTOM ROM's and/or ROOT-talk)..."

Thanks ;) btw since Samsung combines many csx's in one oxm csc...is there any chance that samsung will push updates to all csc's in oxm at same time? On my s7 edge i had egy gosh less updates to that one...!so i flashed btu..frequent updates!! But now i am stuck with slk...no way to change that right?
