V20G rooted zip by paolo!

You need to first go the russian way. Uncheck recovery while flashing via lgmdp. This zip is rooted.

you need to decrypt the cab file of this official update before flashing the 20G.zip

so it would be better if anyone upload the decrypted version also....so that we can flash in the Russian way.

you can install custom recovery by following the steps from the link

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14590924&postcount=202

it's no need for root.
I do not want custom recovery. I want separate file of the new official GB update v20G

just like the leaked test GB ROM

like

amss.mbn
amsshd.mbn
appsboot.mbn
appsboothd.mbn
boot.img
oemsbl.mbn
oemsblhd.mbn
partition.mbn
qcsbl.mbn
qcsblhd_cfgdata.mbn
recovery.img
splash.img
system.mbn

This file can be found by cabing and then decrypting the new official Romania GB ROM v20G

So this is what I want

you can do it yourself. follow steps from the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=901417

only steps 1 to 3

i've already did it. i flashed the second time v20g in the russian way.

Whatever... In case someone else wants it, will take about 30 minutes before the upload is done.

I have replaced the stock recovery.img with CWM 3.1.0.0 and added the LGMDP-v1.5.exe flash tool.

ya I know. I was being lazy. but done it already....
Sorry, was away for two hours. What i meant was that one can flash the 20a via russian tool while unchecking the recovery to retain it. Then v20.zip can be flashed normally via recovery and this is rooted.

Seems somebody might have uploaded v20g to be flashed in russian way as well.

How to know whether my nv2 was saved or not while flashing via lgmdp? I had flashed via lgmdp a few days back. I read somewhere it automatically saves it. Or, do we have to save it manually?

Just asking out of curiosity as read a few guys had some problems.

And how many of you have flashed via lgmdp and then flashed back froyo? While doing this did you face any problem?

If your NV2 file was backed up the you will see a folder name by your Imei no.

look inside you will find your NV2 file. it should be around 179kb

If you want a peace of mid then fire up LGMDP after you connect your device

go to tools > NV backup

and follow the process.

you will have the nv2 backup in NvBackup folder. it should be around 179kb
