The ota is going extremely slow for some reason so I downloaded it through the Asus website and have it on an external SD card and also on internal storage but I can't figure out how to install it.

I've unzipped it and then unzipped the resulting file (zip inside a zip I think) and I'm left with a file named 'blob' and its roughly 700mb large, but I can't run it.

I've also tired booting into download mode' , but when I do, I just get the green android lying down with his belly open and the red exclamation mark. How can I install the file I downloaded from Asus website?

Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app

After downloading it from Asus website, just unzip it ONCE not twice.
Then format a microSD card (FAT32) and put the unzipped file on it, put the microSD in the tablet and it should recognize that a upgrade is avaible.
Then just follow what is write at screen.

Yeah its good yeah. Some thing could be better on both tablet and phone versions of JB like Google now and I also find in the tablet version, when bringing up all previous apps (not sure what the button name is, the one to right of home) there is delay and the apps previews load from the most recent upwards in order some after the other, rather than all atonce . Anybody else get that?
