I just installed this keyboard. It has a lot of nice features including arrow, can be made floating, left or right handed and
thumb (sort of, maybe more for tablet.). Pretty awesome. btw since can do Ctrl with lower volume one can make tab with Ctrl i and
esc with Ctrl [ if needed (or just change keyboard when you need to!!)

EDIT: Just noticed the floating keyboard can be made into a split one. Not bad!

A few comments:

The crt/fade effect will elicit what you see (half does the effect, other half just goes dark) in landscape mode only. This was a necessary evil for the mod itself, as it seems rotation/configuration changes - when fade/crt are active - caused some nullpointer FCs that I have yet to track down a solution for (I spent about 3 weeks trying - this was one of the first things I tried to hack in). I landed on the "good enough for what I've got" approach that allowed the effect to be used regardless of landscape/portrait, but at the cost of the funny behavior you see in landscape. I've yet to see a solution to this out there, and at this point it takes an eye far more clever than mine to make it happy :(

MyMagazines FC issues - ironically enough I see this stuff reported on full bloated unrooted stock even, so who know what's going on there. When the FC happens next - @nesta17 would you be able to get me a logcat of it? It might help (or might not lol), but even if it doesn't it's the best shot at figuring out what's going on.

The volume-key cursor thing... hmm... that would be nifty, though I'm not sure how to implement such a thing. Meaning I don't know if it has to be specific to a particular keyboard or if it can be generally applied to any keyboard that might be used... This is where xposed really shows a major strength - it's ability to pick/choose/global apply things. @sshafranko could you PM me a link to the xposed module that has this as an option? It might offer a clue as to how to implement such a thing...

Random update - it took the better part of 2 days to get it all hammered out but I managed to figure out (maybe 5 hours ago) a hide-toggles-on-notification-panel option :)

EDIT:
Also - I have an sview cover so I try to work mods around it (you might notice little things... reboot menu, day of week with the statusbar clock, miui battery bar resizing - and then there's the whole use-an-uncolorized-image-for-background option and all), so let me know if you notice anything being buggy with it. That being said, making crt/fade effect behave within the confines of the sview window is not something I tried, so the effect itself (at least in this case) should not act any differently with or without sview cover use.
I think my S-view lag was a one time thing, first boot after installing a new kernel etc.. I haven't been able to replicate it since.

Have you looked at XUIMod? This is pretty much the only xposed module I miss. It has some awesome features like list view and system animations as well as custom volume pop up fade away timeout and some other stuff.

Thanks buddy I installed it earlier today. Want to try the wanam flashlight mod to see if it works. I cant give up my flashlight even though Civer is an amazing lockscreen. It doesnt seem like a real lockscreen though it almost seems like a skin on top of the homescreen. Not sure how to explain it. Pretty cool though

Alpha 3, and both Compulsion and Lean kernel work fine out of the box with Compulsion having more features and Lean being more minimalistic and battery friendly. I am no expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

I've gone as low as -50, but my phone is a b1tch. I keep it at stock values, but - 50 was stable for me. I tried 75, no good.
