There's an issue with the device name of recovery. Currently it's "oneplus2" which prohibits OTAs from being installed because it requires device name to be "OnePlus2". (Case sensitive)

Yep. Don't install this official TWRP version yet. It wouldn't let me install OTAs. I already did a full wipe so I was left with a OnePlus Two with no OS. Thankfully I had a Nandroid backup.

If you can hotboot the recovery,then you can definitely flash SuperSU.zip

LOL yeah, i was using the wrong version of SU don't know what happened now working ...

But i wont flash twrp for now as OP recommended hehe

All you have to do is edit the updater-script and delete the second line of it. Then it should work. Didn't test yet.

Got the error this package updater binary is for OnePlus2 devices..this is a oneplus2.

EDIT OK I am working with him now to sort the issue!

EDIT 2 keep an eye out on the site. He is working on version 2.8.7.1 now. Should be up soon.

Flashed Oxygen 2.1 full zip (from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347820312) using latest TWRP and flashed fine. Stephen did you mean to flash the smaller 38mb OTA file?

No, the issue got fixed already but there was an error with the versioning script, the new 2.8.7.1 build will just be released to make things more clear.

Again, the fixes are already incorporated in the current 2.8.7.0 image, the versioning script just bugged out.
Just redownload the image, flash it and you're good to go.

Extract the image file and flash it via fastboot... Then you know it flashed... 8)
