can anybody help me find the last/final/end official build of this ROM? This is my favorite ROM, and have used it more than any other ROM build for MIDO, but it's no longer available on the los downloads site. @ThE_MarD maybe you can help.

Heyyo, so I've started my adventure of building LineageOS 18.0 for x2! My first build failed to boot lol, but I'll keep checking as to what is going on with it. 🤪

With Payton I did learn more about fixing persist sehash issues and I ported the fix to LeEco so hopefully no one will ever have persist issues when downgrading and then upgrading again. I tested it on my x2 with a QFIL and then flashing a build I made and all sensors worked and no errors for persist sehash wiping and such too. (y)

Also, WOW, meow that the forum migration is done? It's impressive how fast the forums are! Love it!

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

    SUPPORTED DEVICES
    - LEX820 (X2_CN)
    - LEX821 (X2_WW)
    - LEX822 (X2_CN)
    - LEX829 (X2_NA)
    - LEX910 (MAX_PLUS. Currently only supported on unofficial test builds)

HOW TO INSTALL LINEAGEOS WITH LINEAGE RECOVERY
    - Make sure your phone is running firmware from at least 19S for x2 and 13s for max_plus. If not? Please download either the minimum recommended version below (or optional updated versions) and install it via TWRP. It can be flashed before or after the ROM
Please follow the official LineageOS Wiki instructions for our device.
    https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/x2/install

HOW TO INSTALL LINEAGEOS WITH TWRP
    - Make sure your phone is running firmware from at least 19S for x2 and 13s for max_plus. If not? Please download either the minimum recommended version below (or optional updated versions) and install it via TWRP. It can be flashed before or after the ROM
    - Unlock bootloader and install TWRP 3.3.0-1 (designed for Pie and treble) or higher. TWRP instructions are here.
    - Download the LineageOS and firmware zips. (see Downloads)
    - Boot into TWRP.
    - Copy the downloaded zip files to internal sdcard.
    - Perform a backup of your current ROM. (Optional)
    - RECOMMENDED: Do a factory reset (clean wipe)! No support if you didn't! (Wipe Dalvik, system, cache and data)
    - Flash firmware and LineageOS zips.
    - Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package. (see Downloads)
    - Reboot to system.

HOW TO UPDATE LINEAGEOS WHEN ENCRYPTED VIA TWRP
    - NOTE! Please avoid doing OTA via Lineage Updater when your device is encrypted because TWRP screws up and causes Google Services Framework to crash like crazy. Only Lineage Recovery properly supports OTA via Lineage Updater.
    - Download the LineageOS zip(s). (see Downloads)
    - Copy the LineageOS zip to internal sdcard.
    - Reboot to TWRP.
    - Flash LineageOS. (Wiping Dalvik and Cache is optional, but recommended)
    - Reboot to system.

If you have green selfie camera?
Set front camera model to Nexus 6P

    If that doesn't work?

Here's also a good gcam config by @Prashant69 that also helps remove the tint issues if the above fixes don't work

Heyyo, new build is going up! lineage-16.0-20181218-UNOFFICIAL-x2 will have A LOT of under the hood changes for selinux policy fixes (very important steps for us to get official status) plus we are switching back to qseecom daemon from OnePlus3 as OnePlus5 Widevine L1 solution did work... Sadly vp9.secure and avc.secure codecs are broken and I haven't seen a way to fix them and no one else seems interested in helping diagnose the issue... But it turns out that the OnePlus5 DRM stuff was also causing that super random issue where lockscreen crashes sometimes on reboot to system and reboot from twrp... So yay for that!

There's also updated sensor blobs from OnePlus3 to also get rid of an selinux denial instead of limping along with the old one and having to create extra selinux policies... Sweet. :good:

Hopefully the next build will include the updated CNE, DPM, QMI and RIL stacks that codeworkx is working on! But I'm unsure when that will be, as I will be on vacation starting December 20th until January 2nd. My wife and my son and I will be spending Christmas, my son's first birthday and new years with my mom (his grandma hehe)

So just in case life gets too busy for me for the next few weeks? Merry Christmas and a happy new years to you all!!!!!

UPDATE: I've decided I need a break from XDA. I do this as a hobby and I feel that XDA is causing me stress and is distracting me from trying to improve LineageOS for X2 when I have time to work on it... I'll eventually come back, but please don't expect a reply for the time being from me.

I'll still be posting updates for unofficial builds and pushing commits to Gerrit for review for official updates... I just need a break from XDA. Sorry if this news upsets anyone.

Heyyo, just a heads up! Lineage 16.0 official builds start tomorrow and we are part of the initial official device list! Since the builds are alphabetical? Ours will be one of the last 16.0 builds to go up, so hang tight! It's coming! :good:

Heyyo, new build going up! lineage-16.0-20181114-UNOFFICIAL-x2!

    * reworked init/ramdisk. Please test! Lots of changes so hopefully it runs smoothly (maybe if we are lucky even sap power less, but no guarantees... Still need to tweak GPU idle and maybe input touch boost)
    * Includes the thermal engine and config fixes by @andr68rus
    * Updated LineageOS sources (includes November sercuity update)
    * Included a bunch of repopic topics for things still in testing (display styles, PrivacyGuard, etc)
    * Reworked automatic brightness at the low range (too many complaints it was dark, so it will start out quite a bit brighter than before)
    * Includes audio boosts in volumes for earpiece and mics
    * Includes the Frankenstein imx230_lg blobs commit from 15.1 and it fixes green tint isssue once and for all

    * I know I said that I'd work on selinux policies... But yeah, people also said LineageOS is laggy and I noticed our init/ramdisk still needed work.. so yeah I'll try to go back to selinux policies, but some of that is also our init scripts need to be updated for Pie... And my first tests I failed miserably haha so I'll be attempting it again
