Officially an SIII owner now too!

So I finally made the plunge and got the us cellular sIII today! Any others that are on the same network here that have found any good info or roms. I did some reading on tram uscellulars website but hadn't seen much else out there yet. I know it is still pretty new but as with others on us cellular, this whole having a new phone thing is kinda different. Used to getting things last. Hopefully my lady doesn't make me give my mez to her sister. I am still having way too much fun with it.

sagedieu has a us cellular variant gs3...he posts over on rootz. Not much dev going on with it yet! I believe there is a awsome sauce rom by jpaul over there. After a week of having that gs3 in your hands, you will never want to go back to the Mez...

How about after not even a day. It is pretty much everything we want to pump out of the mez. It is probably one of the smoothest transitions in my opinion. I am in the process of moving a lot of my apps over still though. Rooting it took all of a couple minutes after watching the video. Very easy after owning this phone. I started reading over at team us cellular but I have a lot to go. I have not flashed the Rom yet but will most k likely in a bit.

I am getting the same feeling here as well. Not a whole lot changes in the process really. I am just hoping Steve is able to keep us going once he gets back. Sauce is awesome but aokp keeps me going.

yep I've got the gs3, I'm active on teamuscellular.com which you should check out for better support for our specific model, since XDA refuses to give us our own sub forum. jpaulwaite has a pretty damn good rom based on stock that we are all running. I've been working with some other devs as well trying to get us aokp and cm10.

My buddy at work is due to finally make the jump to a smart phone and he was planning on the SIII, but was saying today that it might be 'too big' and might get an HTC Incredible instead... I had to politely explain to him what a huge mistake that would be lol, so hopefully he takes my advice and gets the SIII so I can play with it at work
