Could anybody make this modding for the MTCBluetooth app:

Now the bluetooth app works on my HU this:
1. If I push the bluetooth icon, the sound of the poweramp or radio
etc. stop: When the bluetooth app starts the bluetooth app close all
app that give sound, like radio, poweramp and etc.
2. If I have incoming call the bluetooth app doesn't close the apps,
only mute the sound of the running (radio, poweramp) app. This process
is OK.

I would like to be an app modding, that in the 1st case the app only mute the sound of the
running (radio, poweramp) app, not close all.
And if possible the mute process starts only when I push the green
calling icon, not the pushing bluetooth icon, because I would like to
listen to the music while I'm searching for name in address book.
The bluetooth application serves not only purpose of making calls, but also acts as a Bluetooth A2DP music player.
Being another player is exactly the reason why it takes over other players - it just does what the other media applications like media player and radio do once launched - swithch the sound input to their own.
This way, it is normal and expectable behavior for bluetooth app as a media player application, so nothing to change here.

PS. Some philosofy follows :)
What's illogical here (in my personal opinion), is why the telephone application has been joined together with music player into a single application. I understand that it is because they both are about bluetooth, but this doesn't make much sense for me than the fact that their purposes are unrelated. Consider any smartphone from this perspective - wouldn't you be surprised if your smartphone had a dialer in the same application as the music player? I would! :)

does joying have warranty? ask to see if they will do a warranty replacement. You said you have not done any hardware modifications so this should be an easy warranty justification.

agreed. This makes no sense to me either. My stock car infotainment system had BT audio and phone calls as separate.

I still would like someone to tackle the ability to make calls based on voice commands using the synced phone book. Again, my old car infotainment system did this. You said "call <contact name>", and because the phone book was synced via BT, it sent a command to the phone to dial that contact. How hard would this be? Right now I just resort to picking up my phone and dialing contacts directly, as using the HU contact list while driving is too difficult.

I reckon you could be on to something there..
But I have been discussing with the XDA mods on how to split this forum away from Android Auto and into its own thread..
Then have it divided into subdirectories as in ..
General..q&a..ROMs..apps

We are the point that hardware and software mods need to be given credit for the work done..
And personally I can only see this thread becoming a monster...as it is now..
That is exactly what i try to find out here over a POLL; http://forum.xda-developers.com/and.../poll-android-head-units-subdivision-t3217036

Hello Android Head Units Junkies,

a very great and big Knowledge Base is it here around our Android Head Units.

Amazing Guys with many knowledge,
Programmer, Modder and ROM Builder...

What do you think about a little bit more overview in that Area?
Most of all is in the Big HuiFei - 2 DIN Pure Android 4.2.2/4.4.2/4.4.4 RK3066/RK3188 CarStereo Radio Head Unit Thread.
over 1942 Pages and over #19425 Threats.
Sometimes it is hart to find the right page with the Answer to the Question what who has one or the other people here.
Some questions are going down, in so many questions...
Some great Tips & Tricks for Hardware modding on different threads...

What do you think about, a little bit more structure here?
Create some Moderator's here, to take a look for it?

for Example:•> Android Auto◦> Android Auto General
◦> Android Head Units◾> Knowledge Base (Wiki,...)
◾> Original MCU and ROM`s
◾> Custom and Modded ROM's
◾> Custom and Modded APP's
◾> Hardware Tips & Tricks (Soldering,...)

They say they do... an interesting kind mind you... they guess which part is defective and send it to you to replace it yourself

PS... you pay for the new part, send back the defective one and get a refund upon receipt)))))))

If I had such an infotainment system in my car already, I wouldn't change it to android for any reason...

I had to have my unit replaced as well. Joying were very nice and acommodating. They replaced my unit for free. But you have to be ready to send your unit to china and pay for postage yourself.

Might be worth checking EU trade laws regarding faulty goods.

Probably would't help much if the supplier dosn't respect the EU trade laws. Engaging in a lawsuit under Chinese laws - hmmm:(
Oh please, don't even go there... Total waste of time... But I'm starting to get it why the big names in the industry are not making units like this... And I think if this one goes south I'll just forget about these chinese duds and go for an Alpine unit for music and just use a damn tablet for navigation...
