How do you mean "as default"? You can start from the launcher any player you want. Also, there's an Xposed MTC module allowing to select various default apps for movie and music, but on my HU I didn't see any difference.

That was what I was talking about... selecting another app. And on my HU I senced one hell of a difference between the native player and JetAudio or Poweramp when I finished calibrating them... The native player doesn't even come close to the output of those two as far as sound quality is concerned... not to talk about options on those two players that are virtualy inexistent on the native...

I'm just not sure if the update from the september to the october ROM from Malaysk was successful.
Now I've got the version number 4.4.4 25082015.
Can someone confirm this?

The difference is only noticeable if you use a mode button on your steering wheel controls. Or if you don't have those, then you use the included shortcuts labeled MyMusic, MyVideos, MyRadio, which will switch audio sources, and use your preferred audio/video player apps.

Is there any performance benefit with one radio chipset over another or do they all perform about the same?

I've seen the same unit come with TEF6686 and TDA7066

There's no MODE button on my HeadUnit.

The 'MODE' switch would actually be on your steering wheel on your car. I think most steering wheel controls have a mode switch.

first link it is rom from 28.07 and down it is from 19.10
i think for kgl5 you need to change keymapp in settings.

With the normal KGL the radio didnt even started. With KGL5 I could start it but some buttons do wrong actions. I tried all keymaps but it didnt changed anything.
Maybe I'll try it with your MCU again, is this update with darkelos soundprocessor, too?

@doctorman On the Navigation Menu screen, click the symbol to the left of the tools(wrench and screw driver) and then scroll down to "Calibrate Screen" and click that.......should recalibrate the screen for your screen size.

Did anyone manage to use long clicks on steer wheel control buttons? I want to map long clicks to other functions ,e.g. control spotify or open an app and retain the original function of the swc (normal click). I tried xposed additions, but it doesn't recognise the swc buttons. Also car service cannot separate a long from a normal click( it gives the same key code)
