As I said, you ll be waiting for a very long time, all you have to be able to do is put "Kaiyide" into the search bar and press return.

Evening all, apologize if this was asked before but haven't been able to find it. Question is, is there an app that can turn on the back camera (reverse) without going into reverse? I thought it was frontview.apk that was modified to do it but after upgrading my HU after 2yrs the new version doesn't do it. Thanks

It cant be done with an app, it can only be done by hard wiring a switch into the cable that goes into the reverse light (its this that triggers the cam to come on).

Actually not correct and reason why I say that is because I had it a year ago. The person who made the app wrote it through the canbus. (From what I remember and understand) it was able to turn the cam on without being in reverse but the camera had to be on a constant power supply which mine is. Which is sometimes aggravating because I don't drive a lot but every 2 days I have to run the car for at least an hour so battery doesn't die, lol.

Right, well you need to search for a thread about that app, although youve highlighted a massive flaw in that set up, so better to do it the way I suggested - putting a switch in the lead that triggers the camera on so your battery doesnt get drained.

I have 7" external video monitor connected to TV out. Have no issues except it works only with system DVD app.
I tried different DVD discs and I burned few by myself with bunch of AVI files (No DVD structure). Works fine.

GA5167 dvd android car unit cable pinouts

I bought a used unit without cable.ga5167 eonon
I have a very similar cable from another model that fits but color and pinouts will be different maybe. I need to check.
I looked in online manual and the pinouts diagram of 20 pin connector is confusing me.
It shows numbers 14 to 27 for the wiring.
I need to know pin 1 to pin 20 or a good photo of both sides of cable so I can work it out by colors.

If its bought from Eonon it may well be a Klyde unit, post some pics and I can tell you.

PX6 4G internet termination issue

AOTSR Tesla Style Android 8 PX6 Car Player For Land Rover Freelander 2 2007 - 2015

Everything went well with installation apart from internet connection with 4G LTE. The unit has sim card slot and connects to 4g network in Europe such as Vodafone . When starting the unit I get internet connectivity for a minute or so and then it stops. All settings including APN are fine and the unit seems to be connected on network however when launching play store or web browser there is no internet. The strange thing is that I get connection for a few seconds and then it stops. 4G signal is always ON.
1. Have tried different network sim card
2. Switched off all WiFi and other networking in case they interupt 4G connection.
3. disabled carplay connectivity - unistalled zlink for the same reason
4. Done factory reset
5. Changed 4G Module type in hidden menu (DATANG,COMMON etc)
6. Manufacture support claimed that it should work with european mobile carriers no problem.

May provide more information if needed. I have looked in forum for similar cases and have tried already a few things but without result.

Wrong thread - there are no RK3399/PX6 MTCB/C units, there are RK3399/PX6 MTCD/E units, but your MCU doesnt begin with "MTCD" or "MTCE" so you dont have one of them either. Try the Android Auto general forum.

2 --> You don't need antenna adapter. But you need blue wire from this grey adapter, it is antenna amplifier power.

Hi, I have a SX4 2008 hatchback with a rear roof antenna. I just installed a similar Android radio and the radio reception is poor. Just wondering if the proposed hacked fix your problem? Did you get confirmation that there is a antenna booster in a SX4? Can't download the pictures from the website so I am unsure about the proposed hack. Thanks.
