Hi @all
have some problems with my RK3006 Android 4.4.4 Device for BMW E90 Series.
Steering Wheel funktion, PDC, ACC Can Bus funktions work perfect, but the device does not switch to Reverse Cam, No PDC Graphik will be shown. Reverse Wire from Can Interface is conected.
Does anybody know about these Problems?

Correct, it seems just the BT is not working

But in saying that when I tried to installed a different firmware JY with update and mcu I get the errors in the images that is attached
Check backup....
E:1 parse errors
handle script error! ignore...
.....
And a bunch of start and aborted at the bottom

When it goes to reboot it get stuck on the boot splash screen.

I tried updating with the Malaysk and it runs fine and it's able to boot fine but that's only with the update file

So I think its the MCU file that the unit won't accept any more

Not sure if it's a sign of other things that has died as a result



I'll pull the unit out of the car tomorrow and rig up something to run it on my desk so I can investigate

To what is the reverse wire connected to? Is it activated positive or negative. It must be a positive (12V) that activates
reverse cam.

Which converter do you mean? I have a audi a4 (2005). Cosmically it would be the best solution to use my original aerial. But my original aerial is mounted in my backwindow. Correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think it's possible to use my original (amplified Aerial) to receive the DAB+ signal. I also need a converter for the aerial coax connection on my usb dongel to the aerial connection.

Read OP, WiKi, you should have known that the MCU mcu.img file is not interchangeable... You could only change the MCU version number, not its type. However, update.img firmware files could be used on any HU.

Yes I'm well aware its not interchangeable but that's the correct MCU for my model and I have used it in the past I was just going back to an older MCU and update that I knew worked in the past but it no longer works

Hi @sabruri1 is try to fix the AF problem that affect all units with any version of MTCRADIO
What's appen is that the sistema is not able to swat to the strongest frequency of same station when signal come weak
I'm already in contact with Rambo of joying ..he say that is reporting all issues to the developers. ..but isn't so easy to explain the problem...probably he never seen how AF sys have to work
The problem is that Rambo of joying say that was the first time that someone report this problem..nobody before ..so after pages and pages to explain I make a video also of mtcradio
Sabruri1 said me that on Radioactivity no commands are present to execute the AF command
I think that joying developer will take more seriously in consideration the problem if also you can contact his..

You can see that I'm driving with a station receiving (with alternative frequency already receiving good)
But I wait until station is very weak but system don't swap ...I will swap manually to the new frequency
And at the end I show how radio receiving very good ..with search....and I try all radio function

I emailed the Chinese developers with the AF issue if they get back to me I will let you guys know.
Never knew about "Alternative frequency" option for Radio. learnt something new, Thanks.

I think there was another patch for USA grouping in the radio that someone patched, but since that does not apply to all over the world maybe harder to request. I personally never use that myself either.

load in to Recovery
install the ROM from your USB/SD in recovery by choosing the option that lets you keep DATA.

becuase getting to it and doing the work is nearly impossible for me. I keep telling you this. I was in an ugly wreck a few years ago and I don't have the motor control of my hands to actually take the unit out and modify the antenna. Unless you have a step-by-step photo guide i can use and give to someone to do, adding an external USB wifi adapter is really my only option.

You need to find out how the system calls your new external wireless card.

But why would you need an external card? You better use an external (5 dbm) antenna (eventually taken from an older router) with the existing wifi card. I did it with excellent results (about 20-25 Mbps downloading rate at about 25 meters distance), with the pigtail or antenna extender cable and the RP-SMA connector; opening the HU and accessing the WiFi card is easy, since it's in a corner on the motherboard next to the front panel - practically the only item to demount. Search the thread for others' experience, pictures, etc.

Yes.
An existing KLD MCU can be upgraded to v2.64, while an existing KLD2 MCU will need the 2.67 version. A wrong MCU version is not fatal, it can be replaced, of course, but you will run into problems with the radio which will work only with the correct MCU.

If you don't get 12v under the dash, next option is to connect your unit to the white back lights 12v. That's the way I'm doing it.

We ask these stupid questions because we are not sure.. it's a huge investment for some of us and frankly this thread is daunting.. not everybody has been here from post one. I have been on xda for a while and have rooted many phones. I am still not sure which unit to go with every day there seems to be conflicting comments about what is right and whats is better..

Improve Internal MIC

Hello,

under all these pages I didn´t find what I´m searching for.
So her is my issue, i want to improve the quality of the internal MIC.

My unit is a Erisin ES 9405 which is based on an KGL V2.

I fixed the MIC sound to the BT-Board, and with this Forum the telephone is pretty awesome.
But now the voice control could be a lot better.
