So I dug up my old LG V10 VS990 (verizon) and was trying to root it and turn it into a dedicated speedometer. After 18 hours of trying every thing I could possibly find on the internet, I'm totally at a loss. So I'm coming to you guys for help.
I've seemingly tried everything. The one thing I have noticed is, OEM Lock is no longer an option in Developer options. I have the android SDK and LGUP and have tried all the "one click" apps I could find and still can't find anything.
Here are the phone specs that may help
Hardware version : Rev 1.0
Android security patch level : 2017-12-01
Build Number : MRA58K
Configuration Version : B15.LGE.VS990.0
Software Version : VS9902BA
Software Status : Modified
Security Software version : MDF v2.0 Release 2
I'd greatly appreciate any info you can give me on rooting this phone, or at the very least how to turn off OEM Lock.
Also, I promise, I spent a lot of time on this already. I read page after page after page of google searches and tried everything. My guess is the information I'm gathering is all as old as this phone.
