please read: If you want to flash a new rom, may i suggest you to back up your original rom first. Also, before you flash any rom or radio you must hard spl first. A full flashing tutorial can be found here too

thanks to mostberg for sharing his ftp. This is what i have found, tested and uploaded:

1.- hard-spl utility for x1 with simple instructions download here - x1 tested
first step before flashing. This app "unlocks" your phone to flash new roms or radios

2.- radio update utility for x1 with simple instructions download here - x1 tested
this app will flash new radios to your phone

3.- rom flash utility for x1 download here - x1 tested
this app will flash new roms (alternative to microsd rom flashing method)

4.- radio 1.09.25.23 from htc diamond download here - x1 tested

5.- radio 1.02.25.27 from htc fuze download here - x1 tested

6.- radio 1.06.25.29 xperia x1i original download here - x1 tested thanks to fards

7.- radio b19949 from prototype xperia x1i download here - i have not tested this one yet, but it was extracted from a xperia

As there's not too many ROMs out there yet, this thread is still redundant. Also, I'd remove the "guide" part from the title, as it's just a list, not a guide.

It would however be useful to also mention all the stock ROM's that people upload'; they're requested a lot and the stickied topic is hardly ever updated.

IF anyone has a place for me to upload it, I can supply an unbranded X1 NL ROM.

Just flashed with this radio. As documented before my reception went up from a consistent 2 bars to a varying 3 or 4 bar at my desk at home. Will test more to see how 3G reception is affected.

I flash and flash radios again and again and it allways says "Radio version 1.06.25.29" RADIO VERSION NEVER CHANGES !!! but yes I seem to get better reception with the diamond radio and fast battery drainage with the fuze radio. This is being discussed in the "Radios" thread

The same problem by me, i have original 1.06.25.29 and flashing and flashing, still the same, SPL has been done, in bootloader it is also ok..

Which radio is your Xperia reporting ??
