Oh my... how bad is this for me

Odin failed on mine. Pphone was stuck on the screen with the big android bot saying downloading.

After awhile I held power button down until it powered off (I thought) but within a few seconds comes up with "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.".

Kies will not connect to the device . How hosed am I? Is there a fix to get it working again?

-Removed and replaced battery and tried all over again. Worked this time.

I have wi-fi issues on the kernel, turn on wifi, it seaches, finds nothing and then wifi turns off.

Any fixes for it.

Problems with the e: verification after flashing when trying to flash clockworkmod roms.

So I thought about it for a few minutes then I decided to click on the fix permission under advanced in clockwork mod took a few minutes to run I thought something got messed up but work perfect after that no problems flash my first rom works great thanks for your kernel...

Because you flashed a custom kernel with Odin. It is expected behavior. Information on how to deal with it in the guides linked in my signature.

I have a question, I have a Galaxy S2 i777 At&t, and I’m using a custom rom, “ICScrewD” and I wanna as if its possible to reset the the product name from GT-i9100 to SGH-i777 in the ODIN MODE? I’ve used the jig but still says i9100..

Or will I lose root and clockwork mod if I need a different kernel for the 4.0 rom I wanna use. Better yet do you know any good 4.0 Roms that will work with your kernel.

I'm pretty sure ive come across this answer on another thread.. if I see it again ill post a link.. I haven't had this problem though and have been using this method since day one of rooting my i777

There are no ICS ROMs for any Galaxy S II yet (unless you count the alpha-quality leaks for the I9100, which will not be usable on our device until kernel source is published for an official I9100 ICS release). No Gingerbread kernel will work with ICS. Also note that the kernel in this thread is fairly old, zedomax is long gone.

No Wifi after root

I followed the above instructions to root my SG2 and unlock it. Everything went well except I do not have wifi anymore. My baseband version is I777UCKK6 and my kernal verison is 2.6.45.7_Zedomaxstockkernal.

What I need to do so my wifi start working. I had hard clean swipe the phone still no luck. I have no clue what to do. Some of my issues are I do not undersatnd all of terms and really naive when it comes to technology.

1. Do I need "Flash the phone back to the store" use UCKH7-CL503881 posted by creepyncrawly?
2. Or use oneposted by Entrpy512 "retrun/KK6 return/unbrick to stock" I tried to download UCKK6_stock_rooted but somehow can not extratc the files.
3. or there is any easy step.

I really appreciate it if someonce can help me on this.
