Old Zedomax root method...Do not use anymore...

i got my s2 a few weeks ago and used his method to root my and my wifes s2 and had no problem what so ever so i dont understand what the deal is... and yes the firmware version on mine and my wifes phone was 2.3.6

That means you tripped the flash counter which most people try to avoid, a well as if someone stays on 2.3.6 then they won't have wifi on his kernel.

Anytime someone asks about issues using this particular method, they get flamed for using it, but here is ANOTHER reason why people use it as I pointed out in a separate thread not too long ago how this method was referenced and linked to in stickies yet here is a thread DEDICATED to it.

Well have to do something about Google as well hehe. When I got my GS2 at the end of January, Googling "root galaxy s2" brought me right to zedos site. Of course I did it but quickly went to codeworxs kernel after reading up about the problems with it here.

Then again, at the time CM7 was just pulled from the GS2 and downgraded back to unstable so there wasn't a whole lot of rom activity over here until about the time CM7 RC1 came out. We need to get the xda forums to out Google the older links!

What's even more strange is zedomax can't even comment and support his own thread!

Good! His methods have caused more grief for the active devs than necessary. Remove his links from xda and then when people come crying... "use the search bar, you will find your answers".

I don't like it because I almost fell victim to his video. However, I had more questions so I kept looking and thought of xda from when I had my tilt2.
