What is dehydration hack?

dehydration hack is set on if you install or use wph tweaks (look in the app list and settings menu) to disable simply switch it in that app
this hack allow you to keep in memory some open application and works like a multitasking app

theme? go to settings then themes (second in the settings list), you could choose from light and dark and a lot of accents colors


to increase battery life should you try ECO from WPH, search in xda wp7 forums or on their site, this little app can temporary disable sensors and clean ram for increase battery life and seems to work fine

Secondly, How to copy music from PC to phone without Zune ?

firstly
with custom rom there are several way to install xaps
i use multixap installer (found on xda) but you can connect phone to pc and copy xap in phone \ (root) and open them with file explorer or send them as attachments in a mail, xap deployer is already on device and you are able to install the xaps directly, or open xap by the original web pages to install or use Bazaar to download the homebrew to your phone

i don't know, i use zune (on my pc) to copy my music and sync my pics.. i have to quote this question, is there any other way to copy music without zune? (music files are stored in \\My Documents\Zune\Content but i suppose it is not possible and neither safe to copy them directly, anyway you need zune running to open the \ of phone)

turning off dehydration hack does not affect installed programs but only how memory is allocated

remember to search the forum and eventually post question in QA sections. this thread is reserved to rom development and rom specific issues, so we may not talk here bout general features like deploying xaps, setting features and homebrews

Good question.. You can mount the phone as drive in Explorer

See HERE. Deploy WPH Tweaks, if you already don't have it.

In app, second option from the top is Dehydration hack. Set it to OFF. It helped me to restore battery life to somewhat normal, when using this ROM.

I don't know why today suddenly my phone doesn't show English suggestion anymore on the keyboard.

I tried to reboot my phone and change the region but the problem is still there ??

Anybody knows how to fix this ?

After 1 day, I must admit that the battery stamina has been improved a lot!! I would suppose that there is at least 50% more juice then before!
What is that dehydration hack and why is it making that the battery consumes more energy??

How can i resize tiles to large in this ROM? Only medium and small can be set. :S

Think the resizing is a bug. I can only set Messaging as a large tile.

Also, the battery life is horrendous after changing all my settings to cater for it not the cook's fault though if it's the firmware.

Phone still shows "Windows Phone 7.5"...
