Hi, My Omate Racer just suddenly went dead. I didnt drain the battery dry nor got water damage. All I can see is a black screen and when i press the power button the backlight somewhat turns on and nothing on the screen. Plugged it in the laptop but doesnt recognize the device. Any ideas?

Screen remains black occasionally grey in color, it seems to have power just nothing on screen. Plugged it in my laptop and the device is detected but the usb device is not recognized by windows.
The firmware is nowhere to be found, so even if flashing tools were available, there is no firmware to flash it with. If Omate will not fix it, please PM me.

Still mailing Omate if they can help me flash me out of this misery, I really wanted to try update its firmware or something.. its frustrating to see this watch go to waste

Always make sure you have full battery before launching a FOTA update this is true not only to Omate but every smartphone. You have most likely bricked your device. Contact Omate [email protected] and they will help.
If Omate bothered to post firmware on their site, then he would be able to get it running again. That would save Omate and the customer both time and money.
