Based on Stock Sammy/Omni/Cyanogenmod 11 and MIUI 6 Patchrom for KitKat

This ROM is built by the Chinese developer @nian0114(xda name:jing95916).

Please take note that although this ROM is based on CM/Omni/Sammy, you will get a MIUI experience instead of an AOSP one.

This ROM is approved by MIUI officials and hosted by Xiaomi Official Server. Although it is not directly maintained by Xiaomi, you can still treat this as some official ROM.

Will test it for a while and report back.

EDIT: Rom is smooth and works well. Google Play Store is broken though (as in the i9300 thread) as you get an insufficient space error when trying to install apps. Also, it doesn't seem to be possible to make the 4G setting stick so rebooting always resets it to 3G only.

feels great! Play store error as mentioned already and theme/wallpaper app(s) start in english when loading but immediately switch to chinese a split second later....

I've gone back to my old rom for now as I really need 4G (permanent) & function gapps. Once these are solved, this ROM is great.

Does anyone know which recovery works best with the OTA update feature? I'm using Philz Touch currently but it errors and you have to manually browse to the zip file.

Okay, I manage to run and install app from playstore with this gapps: en.miui.com /thread-67962-1-1.html
Coming from Lolipop, here is the step i do
1. Do exactly as the OP: wipe/factory reset twice
2. Flash rom, flash SU, reboot into rom
3. Flash Gapp ( let it finish MD5 sum)
4. Clean cache/dalvik
5. Everything works fine

BTW, i find it's hard to get into recovery without a 4 way reboot option :crying:

Also- did you know that you can get into recovery via the System Update screen? Just hit the settings button and you'll see an option in the menu. Much easier than the key combo

No worries. I hope the fix won't be too far away- this ROM looks very exciting. For now, I'm running the older MIUI v5.

3. download any whatsup.apk and install
4. open apdroide app and update app (whatsup)
