Hi Guys

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I just want to find out quickly. This ROM is fully unlocked in the sense that I can install any xap file I like, including Nokia apps like Nokia drive (which is very important for me!)?

Also it syncs with zune and music and videos etc are easy to transfer?
Also, would any of you recommend using this ROM on a semi-permanent basis rather than just for testing purposes?

Hi,

It's a great ROM, easy to install and as a UK based user, found it so much handier having the dictionary automatically built in. At first I was trying the Vietnamese based ROM, which has lots of homebrew included, but it's little things like auto-correct that matter to different people.
The only thing I've found is I'm using it so much, the charge is dropping around 20% per hour (but I am a heavy social media/internet user), and as my phone is 2 years old I think it's the battery rather than the ROM that's causing that.

My advice to people wanting to upgrade is to have a good read of the very thorough and detailed instructions on here, familiarise yourself with going back to a stock ROM (in case you need/decide to revert) and then going for it - I love the new homescreen, and can't go back to regular Mango/Tango after this!

Nope doesn't look like it, it goes large to medium to small to medium to small to medium to small.....

I installed this ROM but Internet Connection Sharing doesn't work.
It says "Connection not shared. There's no cellular data connection to share right now. Check your cellular settings and signal, and try again"

Cellular setting is correct, and I can browse using my 3G network, but ICS still not work. Any advice?

Problem solved after change this registry value:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\ICS]
"UserProcGroup"=dword:5 ;PROCGROUP_DRIVER_MSFT_TCB >> previously on ROM file, the setting is 0x20 (32)

* Better Icons... sadly not all are "original". Marketplace seems to be homemade. But they look better and are not as small as Before.
* The Office App has got a 2013 look to it. The new logo, both on the tile and inte app itself
* The applist has no letters at all as standard. To get them back you have to edit the registry
* Marketplace feels a Little snappier
* Overall a much stable version

Downside by experience after 48 hours

* Can´t cab other languages without loosing a lot of accentcolors (strange but true). Some apps don´t change the language on tiles... "Music & Video" has been renamed to just "Music" and it stays En-Us even if another system language is "cab´d" to the phone.

Small Changes... STILL the languagebug. If other languages are used the Accentcolors disappears and the remaining 6 or seven gets the wrong names.

Accept for that... still better than the previous build.

Works very fine on my Omnia 7, very cool rom All "old" applications works on 7.8 rom

cellular connectivity

I have recently flashed the 8835 v.5.3.1.,Vietnamese version, everything seems to be working just fine,except the cellular data connection.My settings are right because and the 3G/4G icon appears but no connectivity whatsoever.I'm using a Vodafone plan,country-Romania.The problem is not from the carrier because the sim works flawlessly in other phones.Any ideeas?Thanks!

Is your problem.. white theme works very fine and no problem whit mail or office hub.. I used the 16 languages rom Italian.
