I also have this problem, if you have a solution let me know tooRecently installed OmniROM 4.4.4 which has bought the Motorola Xoom back to life, however there is no option to REMOVE shortcuts from the homescreen or UNINSTALL apps. Whenever you long press on an apps to uninstall it it just makes a shortcut to the homescreen. I've checked all the settings, has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?
OK so I've found a solution.... I take it your using your Xoom holding it width ways?
