Without the device, I can't hope to solve it.
If one of the variants of the device doesn't have the issue, I can try because I my self don't know c.

Try data wipe and see if proximity sensor comes up after call.
IMAO its probably an app or active display which is leading to continuously on proximity sensor.

thx, just tried a full wipe but no difference. When the orientation is locked, the proximity sensor still lights up forever after a call and the phone stays awake all the tjme.
Hm. Thanks for reporting that.
Everyone having proximity sensor always on issues, turn on auto rotation and reboot. After that your sensor will behave normally.
If you don't want your phone to auto rotate, change rotation modes in settings -> display -> rotation

Sensor/batterydrain fix: http://goo.gl/GNxzwz
Paste the file in /system/lib/hw, replacing the one already there, with permissions: rw- r-- r--
This fix will be included in march 1 nightly and on.
Me too. Any ideas?Latest multi window, can't hear the phone to ring.
For now it works like a charm. Battery drains a little bit faster but at least sensors work properly.
Hi,
the file is no longer available, please can you say me the name?
Thanks
That fix has already been merged into Nightlies.

There is a difference of file' size.
I had made some additional code formatting changes after I uploaded that file. Those changes were merged that is why file sizes are different.

- Updated audio hal
- Increased boot speed
- Call/SMS blacklist

Don't report/suggest anything related to multiwindow, you may share your experience.
To launch app in multiwindow -
1) Open first app
2) Press home
3) Open second app
4) Open recent apps (default - hold home button)
5) Click and hold the preview of first app
6) Select add to split view
To come out of multiwindow -
1) Open recent apps
2) Select the app you wanna launch
3) You'll have to do it for both apps or it would look bugged
P.S. The white theme will not be merged into nightlies. Please don't request about it.
File is only KB says it's a bin file

I just flashed the sensor fix on the first page and the proximity sensor problem seems to be fixed and the phone can now sleep properly. Thanks!!!
Welcome.
Could either of you test something for me ?
Try the new recovery (link in op)
It is of Verizon model. Could you guys tell me if it works without any issues (normal usage not updates)
Do note that if it doesn't boot, you'll have to flash a correct version through Odin or mobile Odin or some twrp installer.
