OMS Support on OOS Oreo

Looks like that the chances are good that we will receive full OMS support on oxygenOS when android oreo arives on our device.:victory:
Lets just hope OnePlus wont block that.
OnePlus and Motorola phones in particular should be able to use this if or when those devices receive the Android 8.0 update. This is not a guarantee by any means, but an observation based on the fact that these manufacturers tend to not stray too far from AOSP.

Removed volume-down-to-vibrate and therefore no vibration when using DND for priority contacts comes to mind.

I really hope they won't pull another "OnePlus" on us by removing more fundamental underthehood features.
Thats true. Never understood why they did that...
But if they remove or block OMS although google implemented it people will go really nuts i guess.

the thing is, OP has kind of it's own theming process , that's why we have black and light themes on stock oos... they might opt to remove OMS in favor of their own process... i sure hope not, but it's likely.

Even if it does support it ouot of the box, the rom will still need commit to make it work completely. What that article didnt tell you is that without a ton of commits, theme are incomplete.
