I lost Gtalk, was that something tied into the samsung chaton? Anyway to get it back. I use it daily.

Wasn't Gtalk replaced with hangouts app. Maybe that was an auto-update from the play store? Although I still have mine for now.
TBH, no clue. I had a bunch of auto updates, but none of them made me lose gtalk. Still on my wife's phone.. idk. Download gapps from goo. I will post back if this restores my gtalk.
EDIT: just did a google search. Used this and got it back.

Hangouts replaces talk.. I'm sure talk will be eventually phased out. But thanks for the link to replace talk! I'll edit it in the posting.

Do you have more than one device plugged in? Looks like if not you'll have to connect to the proper device by using -sThis isn't working for me at all... any ideas?

I was scared of the rooting process so i also deleted it in your script.
Now i have to test if it works.

Ok so i ran the modified script and everything looks good !
All the apps i wanted to delete are gone in System/App, i can't find them "frozen" or "deactivated" in the application manager.
Only the City Video app is still there even if it's not in the System/App folder anymore. EDIT : My bad, i had an update of it, uninstalled it and it's gone.

Can't reinstall Exhange
I wanted to run the debloat but didn't want to lose exchange services (Email) so I copied both the ap and the odex file and after running the debloat - I moved those files back to the AP folder with Root Explorer and made sure permissions were set properly.
I rebooted - and when I tried to setup email in accounts - I don't get that option - both those files are in the ap folder - but I can't seem to set up an exchange account.
Am I missing something? I don't want to ahve to odin back to stock if I can avoid it - any suggestions?

Hey, you can just delete from the list which apps you want to keep.
Open OPENME.BAT with notepad and delete or add lines of what you want to keep/add.
Ok - didn't know that - maybe I should have read the isntructions more thorouhgly - but in the meantime, I already ran it - so how do I get Email back? or do I need to go back to stock and start over?
If you are already rooted can you still use this method just to delete bloatware

I didn't think I would be rooting this early and like the notes said, I simply removed the gmail app from being uninstalled (editing OPENME) and all went well.
I did have to install the Samsung USB Drivers (thank you for including it and not letting me have to search around) and unplug - and replug the usb back in...

Have you checked to see if you have apn's if not do a restart

Negative I didn't check that. I did a mod a I wanted anyway and was able to send and receive MMS after I applied that mod. Just woke up after a little nap. I did restart though and that didn't help. But like I said, MMS is working now
