One-click Rooting LT25i with 4.3 fw 9.2.A.2.5 (Locked BL)

Gang,

I just rooted my Xperia V 9.2.A.1.210 (LBL) using this method:

Also, make sure you install superSU 1.99r4 (you can update it from Google play afterwards)
after running the towel root app.

Update (2014-06-26):

Just got an OTA update 9.2.A.2.5 .

In order to get it installed (and re-gain root), do this:
- Remove root using SuperSU (see settings)
- Reboot
- Install 9.2.A.2.5 OTA update
- Let it stabilize for a few minutes
- Gain root by running towelroot apk (see above)
- Re-install superSU 1.99r4
- You may update superSU afterwards

Enjoy root in 9.2.A.2.5 .

FYI,

It also works with the brand new LT25i (4.3) 9.2.A.2.5 firmware .
(see OP with updated instructions)

I could not get the OTA update to install, even after Full Unroot in SuperSU. It would abort 1/4th of the way on the 2nd progress bar in the update process, and after reboot would give a message that the update couldn't install. So I updated via PC Companion and re-rooted succsessfully.

Maybe this is why the OTA didn't work(?): I had Superuser (from ChainsDD) installed from a previous root I did on ICS with Easy Root Toolkit, so I had to uninstall Superuser and install SuperSU to be able to unroot.

Anyway, thanks! Now I have 9.2.A.2.5 with Maps 6.1.4.4 and separate Navigation app :good:
