Solution 3 is applicable only when solution 1 doesn't work for you. Both are same.

Just try solution 1.

I'm on mik_is 6.5.7, when the track changes, volume level goes to Max. I should press up/ down volume key once to get back to earlier volume level. Anyone facing this problem?

to fix DSP Manager Problem, you can change the /soundfx folder and DSPManager.apk (Deodexed , and if you want to odex it again use the odex tool ) from 2.3.5 (mik 6.5.7 CM7)

I copied the soundfx and DSPManager.apk, but then DSPManager is gone, if I use the one from 6.5.8 it still crashes.

You have to install it using root uninstaller pro, or using adb, or if u have titanium backup, backup dsp, then go into the sdk card and replace the dsp manager with the old one, that will trick titanium into restoring the old file as system. \

But i dont think u need to install dsp as a system file, so just use root uninstaller or titanium to uninstall dsp manager completely then use the old dsp manager apk to install it to phone.

Using the old dsp manager apk it says install failed, and ADB gives the error INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_INSTALL_LOCATION

Yes. I have applied this tweak. I don't know whether it's there in original mik_os.
This is not only annoying, I'm always in the fear that my ears might burst on next track!!!?

I have applied too, but no changes at all... I don't konw what is the problem...
