Hello folks.
This time (2nd X10) I got myself a dead X10a from the trashcan. Shows all common hardbrick symptoms (blinking red led, vibrates once on powerup)
Though, it seems to be charging the battery, still enters flashmode, but fails to finish flashing, be it under SEUS, PCC or Flashtool. Is it repairable without a box? (got no access to a SETool, no techs in the city with one, either)
Could I use JTAG?
Or is it really dead in my hands? Is this a semcboot/TA/GDFS failure?
Also, label was peeled, are the testpoints under it useful?
Thanks in advance

Already tried flashing all the stock .ftf files I could find. Something is wrong with the phone, flashtool says phone disconnects in the middle of the flash (generally around 20%)

Feravolt has had same sort of troubles on an x10. Maybe you'll find answers in his (dev)thread. He got some usefull tips that werd posted in that thread. I guess you should search in the last 50 pages.
Good Luck!
